Give it a try..... Highly recommended

      THE PRODUCT
      ___________

Today I´m writing about a product from Olay´s skin range. Olay Total Effects Serum combines the Total Effects moisturiser you love with an intense serum to fight 7 signs of ageing:
      1. LINES AND WRINKLES
      2. LOSS OF FIRMNESS
      3. VISIBLE PORES
      4. UNEVEN TONE
      5. UNEVEN SKIN TEXTURE
      6. DRYNESS
      7. DULLNESS

I bought this product at Boots where it was on sale for 9.99GBP. (Normal price 14.99GBP) but this product is widely available at super markets and chemists.

      MY EXPERIENCE
      ______________

I bought this product because it came highly recommended by my mother and because I found it for a cheaper price I decided to try it. The cream was easy to find and the packaging is a nice red and black colour throughout the whole olay range.

It comes in a tall slim bottle, with a pump. I found the pump easy to use and clean. Its a thick, whitish pink cream with a very light scent to it, though you can buy the unscented version. You only need to apply a little as the cream goes a long way.

Applying it is very quick, it goes on smooth and is absorbed by the skin quickly and leaves a silky finish on the skin, its not greasy at all. The fragrance is sweet and not over powering when it is on.

      THE EFFECTS
      ____________

I have problematic skin and am always a bit wary when trying something new and changing my skin routine, but after only a few day I noticed my skin looking brighter. After a couple of weeks I started to see a true difference around my eyes and cheeks. My skin felt smoother and my pore size was reduced. After a month now of using it, Im very happy. It hasn't inflamed my acne and actually I would say it has helped the scarring I have around my chin and neck area.

      MY OPINION
      ___________
I can highly highly recommend this product. It really helped my skin problems and I am really impressed by it. I hope over longer use I can see an improvement in the ageing of my skin. I like the pump for the bottle, its easy to clean and stops bacteria getting into the bottle. A little goes a long way so I think its certainly worth the money as it will last a long time. the only bad point is it comes without instructions of use, which I think should be included but that's the only negative. Its worth the normal price but if you can get it cheaper, even better!

Great price, and great results, 5 stars!

        Disadvantages

        A really good serum

        ==Olay Total Effects x7 Serum==

This is a product that I surprisingly didn't but from Poundland! Instead I noticed this serum in Boots when there was some sort of special offer on meaning that I paid around £9 for the bottle. The usually RRP of this item is £18.99 pence from Boots so it must have been half price (powers of deduction working hard there!)

The Olay range are a trusted and long standing brand of our beaut shelves and a name which I have literally grown up with (taking into account the name before it was changed). I usually only buy these Olay products when they are on a special offer because I tend to feel that they are a product brand that is aimed at the older generation market

however having recently started loving using serum on my face seeing this on a half price offer was hardly something I was going to pass over and decided I would try this brand of serum out as it was one I hadn't tried before.

The bottle of the serum is housed inside a cardboard box and is nicely protected even if a little over packaged in my opinion. The bottle inside is a cloudy plastic one with a black pump nozzle and the design is nothing overly special or anything that screams expensive. However it does do the job of dispensing the product a good amount at a time even though I found it hard to get the last few remaining drops out.

The serum itself is a cloudy sort of translucent colour and is rather rich. The smell is only very mild but in my opinion this has a classic Olay aroma to it which isn't a wonderful scent but neither it is off putting. It seems to have just a fresh and clean smell which I feel is apt for the product especially as it is not that strong.

I found that really only four pumps of the bottle area needed to cover my face and neck area well. The serum is a rich product that simply glides over the face and seems to make the skin feel like silk. The product sinks in rather quickly which is a good thing as I generally would be using this at night and after applying this to me skin would then proceed to apply another layer of a night time moisturiser so this product sinking in quickly makes way for the second layer!

The Olay serum is wonderful to use and I love the overall feeling of applying it to my skin. It seems to give a real boosts of moisturiser and makes my skin feel refreshed and nourished. At first I wasn't expecting much in the way of skin improvement but half way through the bottle I found that my skin did seem to have more of a glow with a smoother look and smaller pores.

The claims of this product is that using it will reduce the amount of fine lines and wrinkles, noticeably smooths skin texture, visibly evens skin tone, transforms dullness to a radiant healthy looking glow, reduced pores, age spots and botches whilst intensively hydrating the skin. Although at first these claims seemed far to unrealistic for my liking after using half the bottle I began to notice some of these claims were very well founded.

The fact that I felt my pores appeared smaller, my skin looked more radiant and hydrated was a real surprise for me and on nearing the end of the bottle the result had improved even more. I can honestly say that this is the first serum that has made a real difference in my skin. It wasn't usually something I would opt for at full price but having tried it now and seen such a good show of results I will certainly be buying a bottle, hopefully on some sort of special offer, but otherwise I would probably even pay full price for it.

I really think this product deserves a top score of 5 out of 5 stars and a high recommendation!

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
