I've heard some very good things about Palmer's moisturisers, so I wanted to try it for myself. I was surprised at its price as I was expecting it to be more expensive considering how highly recommended the product was by those around me.

The consistency of the lotion is between watery and thick (more towards the watery side), and it is easy to apply. The lotion gets absorbed quite quickly as well, leaving no residue, and after a while you would feel that your skin is hydrated. I have no doubts about the effectiveness of the product.

However, the cocoa butter smell is really strange! I am especially sensitive to the smell of cocoa butter (it's not that I don't like chocolate) but for me it's either a hit or a miss, and I'm afraid that this product is a far miss! The cocoa butter scent is overpoweringly like chocolate, and while I'd like my lotion to have a nice accompanying scent, this is way too strong and too much like chocolate.. In the end, I would only use this lotion when I know that I would be staying at home so that I won't be smelling so strange when I'm out. What a pity.
