“ Brand: Peter Thomas Roth / Type: Skin Care / Suitable for: Face / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types / What it does: Firms, Lifts, „
*Who is this for ? *
I would say this is for those 30+ who either already have signs of aging on the skin, or are anxious to keep the aging processes on your skin at bay for as long a possible. Peter Thomas Roth know their ingredients and what works on the skin, so this is will be more effective for those with signs of aging such as lines/evidence of sun aging/uneven skin tone etc. However, I admit to using this even though I don't have many signs of aging on my skin and use it to help keep the signs of aging at bay, therefore, if you're like me then you shouldn't really expect to see HUGE results because of this.
I would say that this product is suitable for all skin types who are concerned with the signs of aging. I would also recommend this for sensitive skins, however, as with all sensitivity issues you should always patch test first. I would say however that if you have oily skin and your main concern with your skin is keeping it clear from spots etc, then you probably won't like it and should purchase something else. That said, if you do have an oilier skin type but you are concerned with the signs of aging then your skin will be able to cope with this in my opinion. I have combination skin which is prone to breakouts and I am fine with this product.
*Why does it work ? *
This product is a powerful mix of vitamins and antioxidants (which help protect the skin from free radical damage), such as Vitamin C, Vitamin K1, Super Oxide Dismutase, Grape seed extract, Green tea extract, Citrus Bioflavonoids,
Q10 ( which helps to boost skin repair and regeneration and reduce free radical damage ( since CoQ10-depleted skin may be more prone to free radical damage ) and Soy Protein (to help stimulate the skin cell respiration and enhances oxygen consumption, whilst also helping to reduce free radical damage.)
It also contains Arnica Montana Flower Extract (to help soothe and repair), Kojic Acid ( to help brighten and normalise an uneven skin tone/pigmentation, whilst also having antibacterial properties.)
All in all, I would say this is a powerful mix of ingredients which will help protect the skin from future free radical attacks and the Q10 will help to repair and regenerate your skin as it is now. Remember that if you're taking the time and effort to help repair your present skin-cells and protect your future skin-cells with products like this, then you should really be looking to wearing an spf cream for at least 25-30 all year round.
I have used other Q10 products but because of the powerful mix of other ingredients in this one I found it to be much more effective on my skin. I don't have any signs of aging as yet but even I had a positive result with this product !!
