      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Test this out before you buy it if possible!

Being a very pale skinned woman I get told I look ill a lot! I'm not really, I mean I'm not in the best of health sure but I've always had pale skin and I never tan easily. I'm so jealous of you ladies with olive skin tones, or that you tan easily or can use any old fake tan because the bottom line here is I can't! Pale and interesting is such an over rated comment as well when your lilly white wearing hot pants! Not a good look lol.

I find it very hard to get a fake tan that I can use on my body without looking at best like I just got tangoed so I've basically stopped using it. However I would like a hint of subtle colour on my face instead of having to use bronzer and the likes all the time without looking like I'm wearing a mask! I decided for this job I needed a brand I know of and a brand I trust because I didn't want to make a horrible mistake on my face!

      The Packaging....

The tube comes in a light bronze coloured oblong box and on the front I'm told it's Piz Buin Gorgeous Natural Colour Gradual Self Tan 'Summer Sensation' Facial Bronzing Cream, and I'm told it gradually builds a beautiful tan and gives all day moisturisation (I'm also told that in different languages too). On the back of the box I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed, size is stated (40ml in this case) and contact details for Piz Buin are given along with absolutely loads of information being given in foreign languages yet again. On the inside of the box instructions for use are given. The tube, colour wise matches the box and again basically just contains the same information as on the box. It looks a nice neat little product and I like the twist on/off safety cap to the bottom of the tube too, to keep it safe for little inquisitive hands!

      Directions For Use....

For best results use daily as your regular moisturiser. Apply carefully on dry skin. Don't forget the neck and area behind the ears.

      Me Using It....

This is really simple and easy to use. No gloves required it really does only contain the mildest hint of colour is for why. Basically this is just a very nice, instantly drying on the skin and gently hydrating from the inside product all at the same time. It is vitamin enriched and really does deliver soft, supple skin and of course cos it dries to the touch you can if desired apply make up and stuff over the top.

The results of colour are not astounding. Sure it impresses me on how easily absorbed it is and easy it is to apply however after days 7 of using this every day on clean skin I can't see any colour (and do bear in mind I'm incredibly pale so i should see something going on by now lol). On the upside like I say it's great everyday moisturiser although the smell of this, to me is rather grim. It's a cross between a floral smell and mothballs and it don't half take some time to evaporate so I'd advise you to take a sniff before purchase if you have sensitive nasal passages like I do cos the smell of this really irritates me.

      Verdict....

If buying it for that sun kissed 'I've been playing on a beach all summer' look then no I doubt very much this is for you at all particularly if you have any colour at all in your skin tone. My skin though looks healthy and supple and fresher and maybe slightly glowing with health but as for colour...nope none. As a gradual self tanner I don't recommend it but to moisturise and give healthy looking skin...I do!

Expect to pay around £9.80 a tube for this in good chemists and supermarkets. I paid £1.00 for mine in Boots in reduced!
