I only recently became acquainted with the Rituals brands, when I received a foaming shower gel as a gift from a friend. I really liked that so when I saw this Rituals Wai Wang Body Scrub being given away free with a magazine I picked up a copy just to try it. The 70ml tube which I have sells for £4.90, or you can get a 200ml one for £11.90.

It comes in a squeezy tube which is opaque so you can't see easily when you're running out. It has a screw on lid which annoys me as it's just inconvenient when trying to use these type of products in the shower. The packaging looks nice enough but I don't think it looks like it's worth as much as it costs.

The scrub is a thick cream which is a very pale green colour. It is the type of scrub that just has a gritty feel to it rather than being able to feel the individual grains within it. The scent is nice but I can't really put my finger on what it is, you would think it would be lotus flower and yi yi ren, whatever that is, but I find it has quite a creamy, milky scent that reminds me of the rice milk shower gel.

Massaging in the scrub I can definitely feel it working, the gritty texture feels exfoliating but gentle, not at all scratchy. It feels really nice to use and I do get a lovely waft of the scent which I find quite relaxing. It doesn't take much effort to rinse off and my skin is left feeling clean with no residue left behind.

I find this works extremely well and leaves my skin feeling extra soft and smooth. It effectively lifts away dead skin cells, as I could tell from the way the dry, scaly patches on my arms disappeared with just a couple of uses of this. My skin is left looking really healthy with a bit of a glow to it.

All in all I do think this is a really good product which I enjoyed using. I do feel it's worth the extra money and I will definitely buy it again when I'm feeling a bit flush.
