Advantages: Wet enough to give a good clean, doesn't dry my face

Disadvantages: Need to use a few to get rid of heavy make-up or significant dirt/grime

As part of my attempts to cut back on my spending, I am experimenting with the cheaper supermarket options. Generally speaking, I prefer to use cleanser and toner rather than facial wipes, although facial wipes do come in handy for when I'm on the go or pushed for time. I usually opt for Witch or Simple facial wipes, but these are regularly used by my Mum so I have the advantage of being able to swipe a few from time to time to have tested them out before I buy my own packet. Having been suitably impressed with these wipes, I knew that this wasn't going to be a waste of money (as anyone who regularly reads my beauty and make-up reviews will know that I have a tendency to splurge on impulse buys that don't work or are not suited to me!).

***Using The Wipes***
The wipes themselves look much the same as any other facial wipes on the shelves. The main advantage for me is the fact that they seem to contain a lot of moisture. This is important for me as I have used many facial wipes in the past that are not 'wet' enough and therefore do not do a good enough job of actually removing my make-up or excess oils from my skin. Fortunately, this is not the case with these wipes, but it was been quite common with the cheaper brands of facial wipes in the past. The wipes are wet enough to remove the bulk of my make-up in a couple of wipes without me needing to scrub to get the job done. This is great if time is not on your side as you don't need to spend too much time cleaning your face. I usually find that around three wipes are enough to get a proper clean, but if I'm wearing heavy make-up or my face is particularly oily on a given day, I will often need to increase this to four or five wipes.

***Overall Thoughts***
These are not my everyday form of cleansing product, as I only use them every so often. Given the added moisture on these wipes, I found that these wipes do not dry my skin. Even though my skin type is basically greasy/oily, some products have tended to dry it out and make it look and feel more like combination skin instead. Overall, I really like using these facial wipes.

Summary: A good cleansing option
