“ Brand: Sainsbury's / Type: Cleanser / What it does: Cleanses, „
This is my current cleanser and I have to admit that I am rather impressed by it. It is available from Sainsbury's for around £2.92 for a 200ml bottle.
Why I Bought This
I have a tendency to buy lots of cosmetics and toiletries, which means I have a cabinet stuffed full of them and not much money! In an attempt to save myself some money, I put a bottle of this in the shopping trolley as it seemed cheaper than most of the other brands that cater for sensitive skin.
Using This Product
To dispense the cleanser, you simply tip the bottle upside down onto some cotton wool. It is fairly easy to gauge how much is coming out of the bottle, as the cleanser is quite creamy and won't drip out of the hole too easily.
In terms of consistency, it is quite thick and creamy. It is not overly greasy when it goes onto your skin, although it does leave some residue on your skin. I have found this quite normal with cleansers though, and if you follow this up with a toner, it is easily removed.
Would I Recommend This?
Since using this cleanser, I have noticed that my skin looks and feels better than it did before. As it is designed for sensitive skin, it is gentle on your skin and has not caused any irritation to my skin. I have been using the cleanser for around two months now and there is still some left in the bottle (as far as I can tell, as it is quite difficult to see into the bottle given that it is not a clear bottle). Based on this, it seems like decent value for money. The accompanying toner is the same price.
