I hate feet, and think they are horrible, how-ever I do like to try and keep my feet looking as nice as possible especially when we are blessed with beautiful sunny weather which means I get to wear opened toed shoes and flip flops. I have always taken good care of my feet, how-ever recently I noticed on my right foot I have a fair amount of dry skin which is rather unsightly. It's actually located around the ball of my foot so it can't really be seen, how-ever I still know it's there and I wanted to do something about it so whilst I was in my local Boots store I decided to check out the range of foot care products. They didn't have a huge range to choose from, how-ever they did have some of the Scholl products on offer which I have never seen before so I decided to buy a few of these products to see what they were like and hoped they worked well. The product is made by Scholl and is an exfoliator product for use on your feet. The product has an instant exfoliating action clinically proven to remove rough, hard skin and to promote natural skin renewal. The exfoliator also claims to leave your feet feeling soft, smooth and conditioned.

This product can be purchased from Boots for £4.49 which is for 60ml of the exfoliator. If you purchase this from Boots it's currently in the 3 for 2 offers on healthcare. I actually purchased 3 products in the Scholl range to make the most of the offer so I actually got one of the products for free.

The product comes in a tube which is them packaged in a box. The box is the typical Scholl colours which are bright yellow and a deep/darker blue colour. On the front of the box it has the Scholl logo and it states that the product is for dry skin and is an exfoliator. The product also has a picture of the bottom of feet which look nice and conditioned. It also states that the product effectively smoothes dry, rough skin and activates cell renewal. On the back of the box it tells you some information about the product and the benefits of using it. It also tells you how to use the product and gives you a list of ingredients as well as caution information too. The tube to the product is made from plastic and has a very shiny surface to it. It's again bright yellow and dark blue and it states that the product is an exfoliator. On the back of the tube it tells you how to use the product and other advice. There is also information about Scholl and contact information. The product stands on its lid which is white in colour and simply flips back to enable you to dispense some of the product.
Using the Product

Apply to clean, dry skin and massage over feet in a circular motion. Rinse the product off and follow with Scholl foot & nail cream. For best results use the product 2-3 times a week.
I always apply the product after a shower or bath as I then know that my feet are clean. I flipped the cap open and squeezed a small amount of product out onto my fingers. The product was an off white/grey colour and looked very grainy. Using my fingertips I rubbed the product in circular motions onto my feet, concentrating on any very dry areas. As I rubbed the cream onto my feet I could feel the grains moving over the skin and this felt as though it was doing a really good job of exfoliating. I have to admit that this did tickle my feet a little. Once I had done this I rinsed my feet of thoroughly ensuring that there was no product left on my feet. The product didn't really have any type of smell to it at all.

Although the product felt as though it was doing a really good job of exfoliating my feet they only felt a little softer than they had done before. There was a noticeable difference but not a huge difference. My feet did feel good though as it felt as though they had. Had a very good clean and were also slightly pampered too. If you do use this product as recommended 2-3 times a week your feet do become considerably softer.

The product was very easy to use and it felt as though it was doing a really job of exfoliating my feet. You only need to use a small amount of the product and it goes a long way. I wasn't hugely impressed by the results, how-ever it did seem to smooth my feet a little. In terms of value I don't think it's too bad and I would expect the product to last at least one month, even when using this 2-3 times a week. I will continue to this product along with the Scholl moisturiser products to see if the products work well together and to see if there is a huge difference or not. I'm pretty sure there are foot scrubs out there to buy that work just as well and if not better than this one.
