I hate feet, and think they are horrible, how-ever I do like to try and keep my feet looking as nice as possible especially when we are blessed with beautiful sunny weather which means I get to wear opened toed shoes and flip flops. I have always taken good care of my feet; how-ever recently I noticed on foot I have a fair amount of dry skin which is rather unsightly. It's actually located around the ball of my foot so it can't really be seen, how-ever I still know it's there and I wanted to do something about it so whilst I was in my local Boots store I decided to check out the range of foot care products. The most popular products were Scholl as they had a very large range of products to choose from so this I the brand I decided to go for. I knew Scholl was a well-known brand and I have purchased their products before so I thought I would give some new products a go (plus it's a great chance to write a review about them too!)
This product is new to the Scholl range and is called Instant Recovery Cream. The product is especially for dry, flaky skin on the feet which can look unsightly. Feet become like this when moisture is lost and this can be due to wearing open toed shoes as feet loose moisture then. The foot cream contains an innovative Deep Hydrate formula which exfoliates dead, dry skin cells, allowing special moisture boosters to penetrate deep into the skin and promote and effective moisture level. This results in smoother softer skin on the feet. This product claims to soften feet with one application and give long lasting 24hr intensive moisturisation. The cream is non-greasy and is quickly absorbed.
Packaging

The product comes in a tube which is then packaged into a box, I'm not really sure why as I think it's a waste of cardboard, how-ever it can be recycled which isn't too bad. The box is the typical Scholl colours in bright yellow and a deep blue colour. On the front of the box it states that the product is made by Scholl and is new. The box also states that the product is Instant Recovery Cream for dry feet and that it softens and smoothes feet instantly. On the side of the box is contact information for Scholl and a bit of information about Scholl. It also states if people with diabetes and poor blood circulation can use this product. On the back of the box is some information about the product itself and how it works. There is also some information on how to use the product. The tube inside the box is again a bright yellow and deep blue colour and it states on the front what the product is. On the back you will again find information on how to use the product, this is in a range of different languages. The tube stands upright on its lid which is white in colour and flips open so you can dispense some cream easily.

I purchased the product from my local Boots store £5.99; this is for a 60ml tube of the product. I did purchase this product along with other healthcare products and these were in the 3 for 2 offer.
Using the Product

Apply the product daily on clean, dry feet. Gently massage the cream into the skin concentrating on particular areas with the dry skin. For best results use with Scholl Dry Skin Exfoliator.
I did actually use the Exfoliator product before applying this one; how-ever I don't think it made a huge difference to my feet anyway. I flipped open the lid and squeezed a small amount of product onto my fingertips. The cream was white and slightly glossy looking; it didn't seem too thick as it came out of the tube. I massaged the cream into the skin taking extra time over the areas where I had dry skin. The cream rubbed in really well and it felt smooth and soft as I rubbed it in. You only need to use a small amount of this product as a little goes a long way. After rubbing the cream in I had a look to see the results. The cream had a very light perfume smell to it, but this wasn't very strong and was very, very light.
Results

The cream had already made an improvement to the way my feet looked. You could no longer tell there was any dry skin on the bottom of my feet and they looked moisturised and had a slightly brighter look to them. I was how-ever unsure whether the effects of the cream would be long lasting or not, so I decided I would also check the results in the morning as well. When looking at my feet in the morning particularly the one with the large amounts of dry skin on, it certainly didn't look as dry as it normally would, how-ever you could still see that it was slightly dry. I re-applied the cream the following morning and would check the results again later in the day. I checked my feet during late afternoon/early evening and my feet were looking so much better than what they had done. There was a lot less dry skin showing on my foot now and my skin fell smooth and moisturised.

This product is fantastic and really lives up to its claims. I have tried so many different products on my feet to try and get rid of the dry, flakey skin and haven't had much success. With just one application, there was a significant difference in the appearance of dry skin. I have been really impressed with this product and as you only need to use a little bit to go a long way the tube is long lasting as well. As soon as I have finished using this tube of product up I will definitely be buying some more. If like me you have or are suffering from dry flakey skin on your feet then I highly recommend this product as it works so well. I can't fault this product in anyway and give it a full 5 stars.
