Whenever I pop into a drugstore or a supermarket, I stock up on makeup wipes since somehow - even though most days I don't wear makeup in summer - I am always out of them, and for the most part, these are the only wipes I buy.
They can be seen as a little pricey at around £3 at full price for a pack of 30 wipes, but they are well worth it - Simple is a reliable brand, and they don't fail to provide in this case. The wipes smell really lovely, though I don't think they're meant to be scented; they don't smell unnatural, nor chemically, nor overpowering - they just have a gentle, fresh scent to them.
They feel lovely on your skin, regardless of your skin type. I have combination skin, and it can only really irritate very sensitive skin - i.e. the skin around my eyes, in my case - if you don't use them gently, so be careful when using them over sensitive skin. I haven't experienced any drying of my skin, nor any excess oiliness, and for the most part, it does a good job at removing makeup.
It can leave a tiny bit of makeup residue behind, so I use a cleanser after as well, but if you're in a pinch or a rush, I don't think it leaves enough behind to be damaging.
Finally, I've found that - though they're a bit damper than other wipes and can leave your skin initially a bit wet - when used, they leave your skin feeling lovely and soft and clean.
I have always used wipes to cleanse my face and these Simple kind to skin wipes are definitely my favourite. The full retail price is £3 but I have never actually paid this for them and I think that this is very expensive for a product like this. I buy a lot of toiletries from discount stores and can usually pick these up for around £1.
There are thirty wipes in the pack which is a plastic packet with a lid similar to baby wipes which you open to remove the wipes and then click back to secure the packet. I have always found them to clip back very securely and I have never experienced them not closing properly or the wipes drying out. The wipes themselves are quite thick and strong and feel moist to the touch but not too wet to be uncomfortable or messy to use. They don't really smell of anything apart from maybe a bit fresh and they are hypo-allergenic so are suitable for most skin types.
I have always found that one wipe is plenty to remove all my make up even if I have gone out in the evening and have been wearing full make up. They really do remove waterproof mascara and this is sometimes what I wear and I find that I don't really have to rub too hard to remove it.
They do feel moist and cool when I am using them and I am happy that they are very gentle and not abrasive in any way. I will start off first wiping round my face all the way to my hair and jawline, then I will gently wipe down to my neck. Lastly I will wipe over my eyes which takes the longest as mascara is the hardest to remove, however with several sweeps to my upper and lower eyelashes is usually sufficient to remove all traces of my mascara.
These wipes are great for every day but particularly when you go on holiday as they don't take up too much space or weight and are easy to transport as they won't leak or split like a bottle of cleanser or moisturiser can. I find that they always remove my make up and leave my skin feeling soft and smooth and I have never experienced any soreness or irritation with them. I recommend these wipes especially at £1 and I will continue to use them as they are soft and gentle and remove my make up with minimum effort.
I have been using Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes for a few years now, as I have sensitive skin and they are the best face wipes I have tried so far. They are very good at removing make up and generally good for cleaning your face without being too harsh on your skin. I use waterproof eye make up and it doesn't take too much time or effort to remove it with these face wipes.
The wipes are mostly very gentle on my skin, but if I rub my eyes with them too much it can make the skin around the eye a little sore. So they are not perfect, but a lot better than other face wipes I have tried, which don't remove make up as easily and almost always irritate the skin around my eyes.
They are very effective at removing make up and good for all skin types.
They can cause irritation if make up is stubborn and takes a while to remove. Usually they remove make up easily, but with some stubborn make up it might take longer, and repeatedly rubbing your eyes with them can still make them sore, despite the fact that the wipes are designed to be gentle on skin.
Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes are also quite pricey if you use them everyday. They are usually over £3 at full price, so it is worth trying to get them on offer when you can. Superdrug often have them at better than half price, so stock up when you find a good offer.
Not perfumed, not coloured just kind - or so their adverts used to say.
These are the latest load of cleansing wipes I have bought as they were on offer in my local co-op for £2.14. I do like having a pack of cleansing wipes on the go not only to cleanse my skin but sometimes my face just needs a bit of a freshen up during the day and I find this type of wipe to be ideal. The pack contains 25 wipes and each one is about the same size as a smallish tissue. They are strong enough so they don't drop to bits as you start using them but also soft on my skin. The pack is resealable so that the don't dry out.
The wipes are more than moist I'd call them quite damp and I do find they leave my skin slightly wet after using them although my skin does dry quite quickly. They do a good job of removing traces of oil from my skin without drying out my slightly oily T-zone and there is no residue left on my skin from the wipes nor is there any stinging or tightening sensation which other wipes can cause.
The label states that the wipes will remove waterproof mascara, now as I don't ware mascara - or any other make up for that matter (no, honest, I don't) I can not confirm or deny this also that they are suitable for sensitive skin.
One advantages are that the wipes contain no animal derived ingredients but they do contain methyl and propylparaben and I know some people prefer not to use products that contain these chemicals as they can cause allergic reactions with some people. On the back of the packet it says that the wipes are good for 6 months after the packet is first opened but a packet doesn't last that long so it isn't an issue for me.
Although I don?t wear make-up as much as I used to, I still tend to use face wipes most days and always when I remove make-up. There are a few I buy depending on what?s on offer, but Simple wipes are a top pick for me. If you want something gentle but effective at cleansing and removing make-up then I?d recommend giving them a go.
The Simple Facial Cleansing wipes are formulated for sensitive skin, but claim to be great for removing even the more stubborn of make-up, like waterproof mascara. On their website they claim that the wipes are the UK?s favourite product, ?loved by celebrities and professional make-up artists alike?. Being popular also means they?re quite easy to come across in most chemists, discount health and beauty stores, and supermarkets, and they?re often on offer too.
The range of wipes has diversified since they were first introduced, so you can now get the original version (which I use and which this review is for), or others, ie Kind To Skin Exfoliating wipes / Radiance Brightening wipes. The original ones are sold in a re-sealable green packet of 25, bearing the usual ?Simple? text on the front so that it?s easily recognisable. The more updated version now claims to contain ?vitamin goodness to refresh and tone? your skin, using pro-vitamin B5 (to soften, restore & smooth). What I also like about these, in line with the ethos of the Simple brand, is that they contain no nasties. There?s no alcohol, oil, perfume or colour, which is reassuring to know.
They?re super easy to use. As with all wipes, you just gently wipe one over our face and neck, and over the eyelids too if you?re removing mascara. They?re gentle enough to use morning and night. I find the size of each wipe to be just about right and the smell isn?t chemical-y either, it?s actually quite pleasant and uplifting. They?re reasonably thick too with almost a quilted feel to them; they?re very soft to glide over your skin and just damp enough so that you don?t need to rub too hard to get make-up off. I don?t use waterproof mascara so can?t comment on that, but I do find they remove the make-up I wear quite well without any problems. The wipes stay intact too, which I think is partly thanks to their thickness.
I love Simple products for being just that, simple. I can have fairly sensitive skin at times with certain products but Simple are always gentle enough for me to use on a daily basis. It?s worth bearing in mind that everyone?s skin is different but I?ve had no irritation or any other issues from using these.
After using, my skin does feel cleaner and very refreshed. They are kind to skin and don?t dry mine out, though I do tend to moisturise afterwards anyway regardless, and they?re very convenient to use, which always gets a thumbs up from me.
When we recently went on holiday, I exchanged our cash for euros at a local branch of First Choice (I know, a very strange start to a beauty review). The shop had an offer on at the time giving away a small Simple travel kit if the customer swapped a certain amount of cash with them. We were cheeky and split our cash into two just so I ended up with two packs! These Simple kind to skin facial wipes made up part of the kit and are something I've been using over the last couple of weeks. Obviously mine were free, but they are available to purchase in most supermarkets and chemists for around £3. My sample packs contain 10 wipes each but a full size pack contains 25 wipes.
Upon opening the pack, I immediately noticed how thick each wipe was compared to other brands of facial wipe I have previously used. These feel more like damp quilted paper to me and are much thicker than an average wet wipe for example. They also don't feel all that wet - just damp but I find there's just enough moisture there to wipe across my whole face and neck removing make up with no issues. The pack has a plastic seal across the front to fold back over after use to ensure that no moisture is lost from the wipes whilst not in use. As they are so thick, they cannot be flushed and instead have to be placed into a bin after use.
I'm not sure whether the quilted texture is supposed to aid with the removal of make up as it has a rippled feel across it, but I find that these wipes are effective in removing mine quite quickly. I've also not experienced the wipes falling apart at all - they always stay fully in tact as they are so strong.
They leave my face and neck feeling refreshed and cool after use. They contain Pro Vitamin B5 which helps to refresh the skin as well as helping to smooth and soften the skin. I have to admit that I have noticed a difference in the softness of the skin on my face and neck after using these for a couple of weeks - I have previously been using a supermarket version of facial wipes and I feel that these offer more in terms of looking after my skin as well as cleansing. That said, these are priced far higher than my usual supermarket versions.
I have sensitive skin, something that restricts my use of certain beauty products. I have previously used Simple products with no problems and these are another in the range that have posed no issues for me. My skin seems quite happy with the continued use (once per day) and I've not suffered any breakouts or rashes as I have with some of the other branded versions. The wipes contain no harsh chemicals or perfumes according to Simple and I would agree with these claims given that they haven't caused my skin to get irritated at all. As there are no perfumes used, some may find the wipes a bit plain as they have no scent whatsoever but that's not something that I've really noticed when using - I only use it for a couple of minutes before discarding anyway.
The wipes also don't contain any alcohol or any oils so they claim to be non drying and non greasy. I would agree with these claims. My skin has felt not only refreshed but also quite moisturised from using these and certainly not become dry in any way even though I sometimes have suffered with dry skin in the past. As I have skin on the dry side, I don't feel I can comment too much on whether they are non greasy when used on the various skin types but they've been fine on mine.
I would highly recommend these wipes. I am tempted to purchase a full size pack after I've used the last few I have from the samples. I am only reluctant due to their cost compared to the supermarket versions I usually use that are cheaper - I am weighing up whether the extra cost will be worth it. I'm thinking that I will re-purchase, although I will try to grab them on offer if I can. I've rated them 5 stars as I feel that is deserving as even though they are expensive, their price is similar to that of other brands available.
Thanks for reading :o)
I bought these wipes simply because they were on offer in Superdrug for £1.99 instead of their usual £3.25.
These are packaged as in the picture above and have a re-sealable white plastic panel along the top of the packet which is good at locking in the freshness and moisture of the cleansing wipes.
These wipes are marketed as being great for sensitive skin (which I have) as they claim to be softer than most other wipes and therefore less harsh on the skin. I would definately have to agree with that statement, my skin felt clean and refreshed after use and not at all sore from rubbing the wipe over my face.
These wipes are alcohol and oil free and have no perfume or colouring in them either - again this is so they do not upset sensitive skin - thumbs up for that!
I would say these were effective at removing my make-up I would generally use two wipes to ensure all my make up had been removed but this is because I do wear alot of it! Of course some extra rubbing was required to remove my eye shadow and mascara which took a bit of time, but I guess that is only to be expected!
I thought these wipes were of good quality as they were thick and didnt tear when I was using them and they were very moist and soothing on my skin. I do like the Simple branded products anyway as they are all great for my sensitive skin type.
I would probably not buy these again unless they were on offer as I think £3.25 for 25 cleansing wipes is a bit expensive and there are much cheaper alternatives out there. I would rather splash out on good make up than waste too much money on cleansing products if I do not have too.
4 stars - really liked them, taking off a star for the price.
I use different types if facial cleansing wipes to remove my make up. More often than not, however, I tend to buy whatever is on offer. If Johnsons are the cheapest at the time then I will buy them in preference, probably. Last weekend I bought a pack of Simple Cleaning Wipes as they were on offer at only £1.99 instead of the normal RRP of £3.19. I have bought these particular many times over the years and though I like them, I don't remember them being my favourite wipes. The packaging has changed slightly over time, though not a lot.
They come in a fresh green looking plastic wallet with a removable strip along the top so that you can actually dig in and remove the wipes one at a time. The pack contains 25 wipes in total. They are white, nice and soft and moist upon first opening the pack and no fragrance that I am able to detect. I occasionally wear waterproof mascara and I wasn't able to recall whether or not these wipes did a good job at removing waterproof make up effectively, the last time I had bought them.
It's really important to make sure that the seal on the top of the pack is firmly pushed down when you have finished using these wipes, otherwise they do dry out super quickly and become totally useless - I have made this mistake myself once or twice and it's a real pain whenever this happens.
Theses wipes are very thick and feel good quality. They are the same texture on both ends of the wipe and they glide over the skin perfectly without the need to have to drag or rub at the skin in order to remove make up effectively. The first time I used them I wasn't wearing waterproof mascara, however, since then I have worn waterproof make up on lots of occasions and I'm pleased to report that they do a perfect job in ensuring that all traces of eye and facial make up comes off cleanly.
My face feels fresh after I have used them and it doesn't feel tacky or sticky. I usually only need to use one wipe in order to be able to remove all traces of make up as I don't' wear a lot, though if I have been out for the evening and have been wearing slightly heavier make up then there s often the need to have to use more than one.
A pack of 25 wipes will last me best part of a whole month and I do consider this to be really excellent value for money. They are fabulous at not only removing all traces of make up but also great at making my face feel ultra fresh and well moisturised after I have used them.
I highly recommend them.
Personally, I have been using these Simple cleansing facial wipes for a good couple of years now and I ultimately think they do the job they are meant to well. I have tried other banded facial wipes and none have been as good as these. These wipes aren't tough on your skin and neither do they have a bad effect. They do their job extremely well. I find with other wipes that they make my skin sore and with these wipes that is definitely not the case. If you are generally just feeling unclean, they are extremely gentle and are excellent at refreshing.
You get a nice decent amount of wipes within the pack as as I only wear make-up once or twice a week they can last a few of weeks. I really like how quick they are at removing make up. If you are wearing liquid eyeliner or mascara and you hold it there for a good 5 seconds and then move it, it wipes the make up away in one smooth stroke. And of course they are also food at cleansing your facial skin of all its impurities in general. As an additional note, they are also brilliant at moisturizing your skin. They are also scent free so you won't find that they irritate or that they have a scent that gets sickly after a few minutes.
The only downside to these wipes is that they can make your hands feel oily, or rather in my terms greasy, after using them to clean your face.
Product: Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes
From: Lloyds Pharmacy
I was picking up a prescription one day from Lloyds Pharmacy and came across the Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes.
I'm a huge fan of facial wipes and I always ensure that I have a packet in my house at all times. I tend to use wipes if I'm on the go or late at night when I don't have as much time or I'm just simply too lazy to use a facial wash. I use the wipes to mainly remove any make-up or for a simple freshen up.
I'm not loyal to any particular brand, I normally just buy whatever brand is on a promotional offer at that moment.
I paid £3.19 for a pack of 25 Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes. This is a bit more money than I normally would pay for a pack of wipes but I've used Simple products in the past which I have always been a fan of so figured that it was worth a trial.
The wipes come packaged in a sturdy good quality plastic packaging with a large heavy duty sticky label closure which ensures that the wipes are kept fresh and securely stored inside. This is re-usable so every time that you use a wipe the label can then be stuck back down again. The product logo and description is printed on the front of the packaging whilst all other relevant information is printed at the back of the packaging. The packaging is of a pale white and green colour which looks very clean and fresh looking.
The wipes are extremely effective at removing my make-up and are perfect for giving that freshen up feeling. I have dry and sensitive skin but these are extremely gentle and kind to my skin. My skin feels squeaky clean, smooth and extremely soft after use.
The wipes are of a good quality, thick material, super soft with plenty of moisture and just the right amount of consistency.
Overall these wipes are fabulous, well worth the price and something which I would be willing to spend that little extra on being as they are such a great quality product.
The Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes are a product which I will be definitely be repurchasing.
Dooyoo Star Rating: 5/5
I use moist facial wipes most days, finding they work effectively at removing my make-up prior to cleansing my skin. I am not particularly fussy about which brand of wipes I use, and will often just buy whatever is on promotional offer at the time. I have been strict with myself recently, however, in that I have been trying my best to work through the huge collection of skincare/toiletry items that I have hoarded away at home, instead of continually purchasing more. One item that I unearthed in my vast collection recently was a package of "Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Wipes", with this review outlining my experiences of using the product.
I purchased two packs of the wipes for the sum of £4 a while back, taking advantage of a promotional offer that was running at the time. The usual price of the pack costs around the £3 - £3.50 mark, so I was pleased at my bargain. Each package contains 25 individual wipes, although I believe a smaller pack that contains only 7 wipes is available for around £1.30. A whole host of skincare items from within the Simple brand is widely available from all good drugstores such as Boots and Superdrug, in addition to some supermarkets such as Tesco.
The packaging is fairly basic, although it is in keeping with the Simple brand overall, offering a 'crisp' and 'clean' appearance, thanks to the pale white and green colours used. Comprising of a sturdy pack made of thin plastic, the 'cloth' wipes are housed neatly inside. As with most other products like this one, there is a heavy duty sticky label 'closure' on the front of the pack that acts as a sort of 'seal' and this design allows the pack to be opened and closed easily between uses. I can't say that I have ever had any difficulties with using this label closure, nor has its quality proven insufficient or under par, which would possibly see the label losing some of its adhesive which no longer offers a secure and hygienic seal. This is a significant fault that I have encountered with many other brands of facial cloths that I have tried out before, and I have found that a closure of a poor quality will see the wipes in the pack losing some - or all - of their moisture, rendering them useless. This has not been an issue with the Simple Kind To Skin wipes however, and I have been able to use every last wipe in the pack.
The wipes themselves are a white colour and I find their material is very soft. This is rather what I had expected, given that the Simple brand is marketed as being kind and delicate on the skin. Indeed, the wipes' very name has the word Kind enclosed within it, so I would have been rather shocked if their material was anything other than soft and gentle. Thankfully, it is, and the soft 'woven' feel to the wipes' texture feels very pleasant and delicate with nothing harsh or 'abrasive' being evident during use, which I feel offers reassurance in terms of the product's suitability for my sensitive skin. I find too that the Simple wipes don't feel overly 'wet' in the way that some other brands do, and this was a further plus point, for me anyway, as they feel slightly more pleasant - and, again, more gentle - on my skin, as a result.
The last brand of facial wipes I used had quite a strong 'chemical' type smell to them that I can't say I was particularly fond of. The Simple Kind To Skin wipes, in comparison, have no such unpleasant scent present that allows them to feel more suitable for my own requirements. I have found too that the Simple Wipes feel particularly 'compatible' with my evening skincare routine, which involves me removing my make-up and cleansing my face before applying a night cream. The Simple Wipes gentle, caring feel allows them to slot neatly into this night-time routine, without them having any sort of 'invigorating' or 'awakening' feel present that is not particularly welcome at this time of day. Instead, they are soothing and 'calm' which makes them perfectly suitable for my own needs.
I find that using the wipes takes just a moment, thanks to their 'easy' and 'fuss-free' nature. I simply need to use one of the wipes over my face and neck, which leaves it feeling completely cleansed. I find they are effective too at removing my make-up, with the soft 'woven' texture of the wipes being completely capable for this task. All traces of eye make-up are removed too, with even the most stubborn eyeliner and hardiest of mascaras being wiped off in just a moment. I don't wear waterproof make-up so can't comment on the wipes' suitability for removing this type of cosmetic, but certainly for my own requirements they have coped well with removing every last trace of make-up expertly and quickly.
After use, I find my skin feels - and looks - spotlessly clean, with it feeling quite soft too. I find that there is no 'tightness' present in the skin which is always a good sign that a particular cosmetic is particularly compatible with my own hyper-sensitive skin. Any tingling or 'tight' feeling being present in the skin is usually a sure fire indicator that whatever I have used has been overly harsh or, indeed, overly 'drying' for my dry, sensitive skin. As expected, none of these issues was present during - or after - the use of the Simple Kind To Skin Wipes, so I do recommend them for those consumers who have a similar skin type to my own.
Additionally, I was pleased to note that there was no 'tacky' feeling left behind on my skin after using the wipes, nor was there any issue with a 'greasy' residue being observed in either the appearance or the feel of my skin. Instead, my skin just felt spotlessly clean and free from grime and make-up.
Taking everything into account, I do feel the Simple Kind To Skin Wipes are excellent, and I will definitely be repurchasing them again. They are one of the best facial wipes that I have ever used, and I do feel that although they are slightly more expensive than other brands that I buy regularly, their quality and effectiveness can not be overlooked. I do therefore feel that they are worth paying more for, and they come with my full recommendation, together with top marks in the product rating score, as a result of my positive findings.
I have been using Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes for many years now and have no issues with them on my dry sensitive skin and they don't irritate me when I have eczema like a lot of wipes do. I tend to use them to remove the bulk of my make-up before cleansing but also use them if I just want to freshen up my face.
The wipes are a great size - I only need one to take off my make-up and smell nice. They only have 25 in a pack which is a little annoying but they're often on offer so you can get a few packs. I would still buy them full price but I just bulk buy when I can to avoid this.
I have been using these wipes for years and will be sticking with them as they do the job and are not too expensive. They are great at removing eye make-up (even waterproof mascara), I just rub along my lashes to get most of the eye make-up on the wipe/under my eye area and then wipe off what remains.
The package is great also as I tend to use them up pretty quickly but I left a pack at my parents' house and found them a few months later - the pack was perfectly sealed and the wipes were still wet.
I first ever used these wipes when I was going on a camping trip and thought they would be easier to use than other products that needed water. I have used simple products before and always liked them so these seemed ideal.
The thing I like best about simple products is that if you have sensitive skin they are great. I have eczema and they are great for my skin as they are gentle and do not have lots of ingredients in them which can irritate my skin.
Simple has been around for years my grandma told me about them as she always used them too.
I bought the wipes from superdrug they come in a green and white plastic packet, the packet has a seal at the top where you can get the wipes out easily and then re-seal it until you need to use them later (works similar to the way baby wipes do). I paid £3 for mine which I didn't think was bad as they have 25 in the pack so will last almost a month if you are using one a day.
On the packaging it says the ingredients are:- Pro-viatmin B. It also states that they do not contain any alcohol, oil, perfume or color, the other great thing is that they arnt tested on animals.
I first used them on my camping trip and they were great, after I got back to the tent following my shower I just needed to use the wipes to cleanse and tone my face, it does both things in one which is a benefit. I had washed my face in the shower but these removed some of the makeup from my eyes which washing my face hadn't done so it was a bonus!. I was really pleased that they were so gentle on my skin yet still strong enough to remove makeup.
After I had wiped my face with them it felt really fresh and clean and quite soft too. My skin did not react in any way to them so it is true that they are good for sensitive skin. I found them really useful throughout my trip and would definitely recommend them. I have used them a lot since getting home too as they are so quick and easy to use. If you are a bit lazy at removing makeup etc then they will be perfect!.
I like to buy these facial wipes when I see them on offer in Boots. I usually buy them for £2 a packet. You can buy different types some have an efoliating side too but this particular type is for cleansing only and is the main one I use.
They come in a packet very similar to baby wipes except that it is not as long and is fatter. This makes it easier to keep in the bathroom as it doesn't take up as much surface area. The packaging is a pale green and white with darker green writing. There are other products within this brand, I use the toner too.
To open the packet you peel off the sticker which is over the top of the dispensing hole. This is then stuck back down when you have finished using them. I have found that towards the end of this packet the stickiness of the sticker isn't as good and sometimes won't stick down properly anymore, when it gets like this I tend to keep the packet on it's side with the lid pressed up against the side of the shelf to keep it closed. If the lid is kept off then the wipes dry out.
The wipes are really quite thin and only slightly wet. They are just damp enough to be slightly cool when you put them on your skin. I like that they are not really moist as it makes it even faster and easier to use. I wipe my face with a wipe at the end of the day to remove any dirt. If I have make up on then it helps to take this away too. They are really good at cleansing the face, I can see the dirt thats been taken away on the wipe and it's nice to know it's no longer on my face.
I don't use this on a regular basis, I have actually been told that a wipe isn't very good as it moves dirt around the face and blocks pores so I try to alternate between using these and other products but I think that it is better than not using anything and it's also very quick and easy to use which makes it really practical when I am in a hurry.
I also find that these are quite cooling, on hot days sometimes I like to use them to just wipe my face when I'm feeling flustered and it helps to make me feel more fresh.
I recommend these, they have been very gentle on my skin I Haven't had any problems with them at all.
Although I tend to use a face wash/exfoliator to clean my skin in the morning and before bed, I like to have a pack of facial wipes in the bathroom cabinet, for those days when I am wearing eye makeup or slightly heavier make up, or when I am exhausted and I just want to use a wipe rather than have to wash my face. I have tried many wipes over the years, and I don't like to spend a lot of money on them, given they go in the straight into the bin and there are never a huge amount of wipes in a pack, but if/when I have the choice, my brand of choice for facial wipes are these Simple Kind to SKin Facial Cleansing Wipes, which at full price can cost over £3 for a pack of 25 wipes.
I have recently ran out of these wipes having picked them up on offer and I am waiting for the next offer to come up on them to stock up. I love the Simple range, and I love the fact that I don't have to worry about them causing any irritation to my skin, as they are perfectly fragrance free and don't contain any harsh chemicals.
These wipes are designed to both cleanse your skin and provide vitamin goodness, as they contain pro vitamin B5 which is meant to restore, soften and smooth. It is ideal for those people with sensitive skin and is neither drying nor greasy.
The other big claim of these wipes is that they will remove waterproof mascara and I can confirm this, that in my experience of using these wipes, they have always removed my eye make up and even waterproof mascara with just one wipe, and even with that, you don't have to rub and rub to get it off. The wipe will gently remove it, leaving you feel clean and make up free before you go to bed. With other cheaper wipes I have used it is sometimes the case where yes one wipe will remove make up, but you may have to rub a little to get it away off your face, and this is simply not the case with these wipes.
The only downside with these wipes is the price. I love the fresh, clean feeling that these wipes leave my skin but I am reluctant to pay full price for a pack of only 25 of these, which is why I only buy when there is an offer on.
All in all, these are great wipes. I love the Simple range and there is no exception with this product!
