PRICE: £5.99 for 50ml
PACKAGING: As with all Simple products, it comes in a very natural-looking white box (there's a cut out that displays the product) with green highlights. The bottle itself is clear plastic with green writing, so that also looks very fresh and natural. It looks like it's going to be good for you - and because it's clear, it also looks really refreshing; you want to pick it up and start spraying your face!

WHAT IT CLAIMS TO DO: Moisture Boost Hydro Mist is, as the name suggests, a spray mist designed to hydrate dry, tired skin, giving it an instant boost of hydration to leave it feeling soft and dewy. It absorbs instantly and can even be used over makeup. And, as you'd expect from Simple, it's ideal even for sensitive skin.
MY EXPERIENCE: In recent months, I've switched most of my skincare products over to Simple. I was having a bit of trouble with my skin and decided to go back to basics. Simple has been around for 50 years and they're a trusted brand and known for being kind to sink. Better still, they're incredibly reasonable. Their moisturiser is one of the best I've ever used (but I'll save that for another review) and I know that whatever I put on my skin is unlikely to cause a reaction. So when I saw their moisture boost hydro mist, I decided to give it a try.
I really love this product. I keep it on my desk at work and give a spritz whenever my face starts to feel tired, taut or dry. Working in an office environment (with fluctuating temperatures), I usually find that my skin starts to feel uncomfortable after a few hours and this spray is the perfect antidote. You hold it about 20-30cm from your face and spray 3-4 times (eyes closed of course!). I wouldn't say it absorbs instantly, as claimed. It feels a little 'tacky' at first, but it certainly absorbs after a couple of minutes.
I can't say with any accuracy how much this product moisturises my face (it's not the same experience as applying a mosturising cream or lotion and feeling the effect in a more tactile way - you wouldn't touch your face at all after spraying). However, the feeling it gives is incredibly refreshing (and I'm certainly perkier and less tired after using it). My face definitely feels more comfortable afterwards. Also (and this may be the best proof that this is a great product), the guy who sits next to me at work often borrows it! Now men don't use products out of vanity - they use things if they make them feel better; and clearly this does. A moisture spray isn't something you'd use to improve the condition of your skin (there's loads of things out there designed to really moisturise and protect) - you use it because of how it feels. And Simple Moisture Boost Hydro Mist really does feel lovely - a blast of cool, refreshing spray, followed by a more pliable face!
CONCLUSION: The ideal pick me up for skin that's feeling a little unhappy. Perfect for the office and during flights - or any time you need a little boost.
Summary: A must-have for long flights (or long days in the office)
