Advantages: Price, UV filters, skin feels moisturised and smooth.
Disadvantages: None
I find it somewhat difficult to find a moisturiser that suits my skin. If it's too rich, I find it causes spots, too light and it isn't enough for my skin, and some just sting as I have very sensitive skin.
After using the Simple refreshing face wash for quite some time without any problems, I decided to try a moisturiser from the Simple range.
I purchased this for £2.97 at Tesco. This is an amazing price for a moisturiser in my opinion and probably one of the cheapest ones you can get your hands on under a reputable brand name.
I love the fact that it contains vitamins and also has UV filters, adding even more protection.
The product is sold in a 125ml bottle which is a very generous amount for the price.
The actual moisturiser itself is white. I would say it is more of a thick lotion than a cream. It is very easy to apply and feels quite silky. It soaks into skin easily and leaves skin feeling very soft and smooth, which is great as some products tend to take a while, which makes my skin feel quite tacky for some time after.
I have found that some moisturisers, even ones designed for sensitive skin, make my skin sting, causing it to go quite red but that doesn't happen with this at all.
After applying, my skin feels soothed and moisturised. I also find that it is a great base for foundation as it seems to make the foundation glide on more easily.
Summary: Wonderful moisturiser at a great price.
