Advantages: Removes make up and is gentle on the skin

Disadvantages: They won't remove every last trace of make up

I usually clean my face using a facial wash but occasionally when I am really tired, or if I've been on a night out, I will be lazy and use a face wipe. As I have sensitive and spot prone skin, I always have to ensure that the face wipes that I use are of a good quality or I will end up with more spots than if I had just left my make up on. I like Simple as a brand because it is gentle on the skin and it doesn't include any unnecessary spot causing ingredients. My most recent purchase was the Quick Fix Cleansing Wipes which is part of Simple's Spotless Skin collection.

What does the product do?
These wipes promise to remove impurities from the skin and well as removing all traces of your make up. Using anti bacterial and natural ingredients such as Chamomile and Zinc, Simple claims that these wipes will leave your skin cleansed and spot free. Zinc is one of the best ingredients for healthy Zinc as it can be a Zinc deficiency which leads to spots in the first place. The product is free from oil, alcohol, perfume and colour and it is suitable for use on those with sensitive skin.

How do you use the product?
The product is simply to be removed from the packet and wiped over the face until the cloth comes away clean. It is gentle enough to use on the eyes so I have frequently used it to remove my eye make up too.

Packaging and Price
The wipes come contained within a thin plastic green and white wrapper. There are 25 wipes in the packet and you lift up the thin plastic covering and then you pull out the wipes one at a time. They have been packed quite well and the wipes do come out once at a time as they are supposed to. The plastic covering does continue to reclose and so the wipes don't dry out and go to waste when they are not in use. They cost around £3, although I have frequently seen them on offer. They can be bought from stores such as Boots and Superdrug, large supermarkets and also from a variety of online websites.

Performance
The wipes do have an antibacterial smell but just as promised, there is no added perfume in the product. They feel completely comfortable on my skin and don't irritate my sensitive skin or make it red. They are fairly damp so they do make your face feel like it's having a good clean. I can't see whether it removes impurities from my skin but it definitely does remove make up and this is visible from the amount of make up which is left on the wipe.

It's gentle on my eyes and removes mascara and eye liner. Sometimes two wipes are required to clean my face if I've wearing a lot of make up and it doesn't always remove every single last trace of make up but it does as good a job as any other wipe that I've used. The wipes certainly haven't caused any more spots and my skin does seem clearer and healthier than before. It doesn't dry out my skin or leave it feeling tight and uncomfortable. I feel nice and clean after use.

Conclusion
These wipes work just as well as any others that I have tried. They are gentle on my skin and they remove my make up. My skin is left feeling fresh and clean, and they prevent spots from forming. All in all, these are worth buying if you have skin that is sensitive and spot prone.

Summary: A gentle face wipe that cleans that skin and helps to prevent spots.
