This is a very expensive cream and feels lovely and luxurious to put on. Indeed that may be the best part! The smell I love and that if anything makes me feel great. (Packaging like all Sisley products is thick and expensive). I honestly knew it would not really make a difference long term but I did try it. Like all their moisturiser products it is smooth and merges well into the skin. Like all other anti ageing cream it is impossible to make one's skin younger really. However it did feel really good on the face and when I was using it. Was it worth the price? The answer must be no, not at that price. I think their ordinary moisturiser is better value. It must be a big profit for the company and I don't resent that. I will continue to buy their other products but not this one!
"It's my favourite product", so says model Jerry Hall. "It's wonderful", Sadie Frost told a beauty mag. So Christmas 2001 I had the privilege (so I thought) of trying this. To say this product is an anti-aging product is a bit misleading, it is a good moisturiser and that is it. The texture is nice, the smell is a bit off putting for me, the packaging was classy (but it's the stuff inside I'm interested in!), but after using it for 3 months it hasn?t done anything that a much cheaper brand would have done. £150 for 50ml is a ridiculous amount to spend, for that price you'd expect to see a difference in skin which has to cope with central heating, winds etc. I wish I would have known about this site or similar sites and maybe I would have read a review and thought twice about throwing £150 down the drain.
