      Very helpful

      A good product

The spot gel is contained within a long plastic tube, with a pointed screw cap lid (which is unfortunately prone to being dropped). The whole thing is shrink wrapped, protecting the rather pretty exterior, which has a rustic look, and overall keeps to the style of the brand very well.

      From the label:
"Eliminate acne and blemishes spot on - with Parsley & Mandarin. Parsley contains anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties to combat acne while Mandarin contains Vitamin C to control excess sebum and aids in skin recovery"

The gel is translucent, and has a gel like consistency. It is smooth and creamy, and upon applying it has a slight cooling sensation. It is non sticky, but if you apply with your fingertips, there will be a slight residue that can be felt after application. Fortunately, it does not sting after applying to affected area.

The product really does seem to work, and calms spots as well as reduce redness and size. It hasn't quite removed the existing blemishes and I don't need it for its anti-ageing properties. It has worked in other aspects though... so it does what it says on the label!

This spot gel can be bought online for $26 or on ebay for slightly less. It is slightly on the expensive side, and works about just as well as the Clean and Clear Advantage Quick Treatment Spot gel which costs less than this. However, the Skin Food Company uses natural ingredients opposed to the [harmful] chemicals found in Clean and Clear.

At the end of the day, this is an expensive product that does what other cheaper products do. What you are paying for are the natural ingredients this contains and a peace of mind that you are not using nasty chemicals such as parabens. The spot gel does work; for me it is the redness and spot size, but it should also tackle anti-ageing as well. I would recommend this, but be warned, there may be other ones on the market better suited to your skin type and budget.
