Occasionally I will allow myself to run out of beauty products just so I have an excuse to splash out repurchase some more!
I love a good face mask and as a trained beauty therapist I try to avoid the run of the mill ones sold in chemists and the likes and prefer to go for a facial and get advise from beauty therapists there and purchase what they recommend to me. This one has recently been discontinued (though it is still available to buy it online) and because it is discontinued the salon I was in was selling this reduced to £2.00 a tub (usual price of this is about is about £8.25) so I felt I got a very good deal indeed!
100ml white plastic tub that has a screw on/off lid to the top of it. On the front of it I am told of course what it is and who is is by and on the back of the tub other information listed includes being told a bit about the product, how to use it, ingredients are listed as is the size and contact details for the manufacturer are given. Simple to look at tub this is and it's informative enough of course.
A Bit About The Product According To Information Given On The SkinTruth Website:
The Skintruth Intensive Nourishing Mask with Acerola, Horse Chestnut and Avocado, is a professional beauty product, which is normally found exclusively in spas and salons.
The Skintruth intensive nourishing mask has been specially formulated to optimise sensitive skin by replenishing and smoothing the complexion. The mask adds moisture, without causing irritation and the special ingredients have the following qualities.
Acerola has a high Vitamin C content, which re-hydrates dry skin. It also contains mineral salts, which revive tired and stressed skin.
Horse Chestnut can reduce swelling and inflammation that can occur around the eye area leaving skin smooth without irritation.
Avocado is a valuable nourishing resource, which calms soothes and moisturises, helping to maintain softer skin. It is also a great source of Vitamin E, which has rehydrating properties.
Well this is a creamy looking facemask that is a light green in a colour and has a slight fragrance of avocado to it. You can use this as many times in a week as you desire (I was advised about twice a week by a beauty therapist) and you should leave it on your skin for about 10 minutes.
It's a skin soothing formula and feels cooling and slightly greasy on the skin and doesn't agitate at all (even when you have open pores and/or spots or anything like that) and it doesn't dry it just sits on the skin.
Easy to use, easy to wipe/rinse off and all round it's a highly pleasant face mask to use that's a very easy facemask to use too.
I really like this face mask. It leaves the skin slightly fragranced with a fresh, clean aroma. Also it leaves skin looking gleamingly clean, and it feels soft, rehydrated and supple in a none greasy way. My skin just feel slightly more cleansed than usual and a tad more moisturised and around my eyes feels less tight after using this too and all round my face is just more comfortable to live in!
This a face mask suitable for anyone who wants a little added moisture to their complexion in a none heavy/fake way. I feel better for using this and although this is a now a discontinued product in spas/salons I'm more than happy to buy it time and time again in the future online as a jar this size will probably give me about 100 applications as you don't need very much of it at all per application, so economical....this really in the long run!
