Skin Wisdom Daily Care Rich Cream
I have really really dry skin and this is obviously made worse in the winter, which is not a good look. I also have quite sensitive skin and moisturisers and face products are the worst products for me to buy as a lot of them can irritate my skin leaving it even more red than it is! Although I saw this product in tesco and it looked good and it also says that it is 'comforting' and 'soothing' so I had to buy it.
*About the product*
It comes in a slightly different packaging than the picture above, but it is basically the same. It is a white tub with a screw top lid (which is the only thing I don't like about the product). They only come in 50ml tubs ad they are exclusively made for and sold in Tesco.
*My opinion of the product*
I have been using this product now for about two weeks and I have to say I love it! I do have dry and sensitive skin, so I before this cream I had been using the simple rich moisturiser, which is really good but not moisturising enough for me. But this cream is super super moisturising and it gets rid of all of my dry patches on my face where my slight eczema is which is fantastic!
It is dermatologically tested and it does have some natural ingredients in it, such as chamomile, green tea and rosehip oil, which is great. It does not say on the tub that it is specific for sensitive skin but for it is is great for my slightly sensitive skin and it does not cause any irritation for redness. It is also not stated that it specific for dry skin either, and I think that it works amazingly well with my really really really dry skin, so I think that it would be too much for oily skin or maybe normal skin too.
It also has a really nice scent to it, maybe because of the natural ingredients, but it is quite nice, although it is not subtle! It smells sweet, a bit like baby power and a floral scent too but it is quite nice. The scent is reduced when it is on my skin but it is there and on my skin it smells just like sweet baby powder, which I don't mind but it might bother some people.
I love this moisturiser but there is one thing about this product that I don't like and that is the tub design. I think it would be a lot better in one way if the container for this cream was a squeezy bottle or a pump dispenser bottle as it would be a lot more hygienic but on the other hand the tub allows you to use all of the product available where a bottle wouldn't!
I bought this product from a large tesco sotre as I have not seen it in the small stores or the express ones, I can't remember the exact about but it was definitely under £4, It may have been £2-£3 which is a really good price and it is a really good product for dry skin in my opinion so it is definitely worth the money.
*Very good price
*Some natural ingredients
*Great for my dry sensitive skin
*Moisturises, smoothes and softens
*Nice scent to it
*Smooth, thick texture which applies really nicely and evenly
*Nice simple packaging
*Does not irritate my skin
*Tub design is not very hygienic, It would be better in my opinion if the product was contained in a pump dispenser bottle
