“ Brand: Skinfood / Type: Cleanser / What it does: Cleanses, „
I bought this when I was out shopping in Hefordshire and I came across this make-up shop where make-up very cheaply and when I got to the counter, I saw an offer on skinfood products, buy two for two pounds, I bought the cleans all and mosituriser. The product comes in 100 ml (3.3 fl.oz) and the product was made in New Zealand.
I first tried the clean all when I got hot and it said on the clean all that it is eye safe, but the results couldn't be anymore perfect as it actually did what on the product! bonus! As well the product doesn't sting so there's no nasty pain in your eyes while you wash as this is an excellent choice for removing eye make-up. Also you can use it first thing in the morning, in the evening or both morning and evening.
The product is paraben free and when you use this you can either rinse off or wipe off gently. but from personal experience it is best to rinse off as it can make the skin feel sift and washing off makes the skin feel more comfortable and feeling soft and natural.
If you do have bad skin this product will make the skin a little more clearer but this isn't the product if you want spotless, clear skin.
Overall, this is an excellent product if still have some make-up left on your face as some make-up like foundation and black eye shadow can be a pain to get off, as this clears it off just buy using this product. Also the best thing about this product it makes your skin feel more natural than it was before.
I previously used Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser as a cleanser for my face and while there was nothing specifically wrong with the product the price tag (£5+ is the cheapest I could find) was quickly becoming a big issue for a poor student such as myself.
So as a result I recently switched to using Skinfood Cleans All and I've never been happier with my skin, the cleanser is a white liquid and extremely light on the face, I have oily skin so a cleanser is a great way to wash of the excess oil on the face in the morning. I apply the product twice daily (morning and night) and after I wash it off it leaves my face feeling super smooth.
I also suffer from very mild acne and this works great for cleaning the face before applying another acne fighting product. Considering you can get this for as cheap as £2 makes it a must have in my opinion. Couple that with its all natural ingredients make it a great buy although "chemicals" don't particularly bother me in such products.
All in all it's a great product, very cheap and does what it's meant to so I fully recommend this cleanser.
I have been using this cleanser for around 2 weeks now since my skin went really dry and flaky (again) either through my pregnancy, my previous skincare products or the weather this winter, or any mixture of these things! I have dry skin which is very sensitive to different products and have tried many in the past that just don't agree with me.
I am really pleased that my skin seems to like Skinfood's products. I bought this cleanser along with their moisturiser for dry skin and my skin has cleared up tremendously. After using the cleanser, my skin feels soft and smooth (and clean, which is good!). I follow up with the moisturiser and my facial skin is much better. I am tempted to use it on other problem areas of my body, but will have a look first what else Skinfood have in their range. I have had no bad reactions at all - no tingling, no red patches and no itchiness.
The cream itself doesn't have a distinctive smell - it is fairly fragrance free. The squeezy tube is easy to use. I tend to apply with cotton wool before rinsing.
The only problem I can see with using these products is availability. I have not come across them yet in any high street stores (Boots/Superdrug/Wilkos) or supermarkets and I am concerned that if Amazon (where I purchased mine from) stop selling them, I won't be able to get my hands on them without paying extortionate prices. For the time being, under £6 from Amazon is great value - I should stock up.
Hi i love this cleanser and tesco have it reduced to just over £2.20 for all the products in this range a really good bargain, I purchased 4 more cleansers
I've recently switched from a regular foaming cleanser to a cream based, non foaming cleaner after reading a magazine article advising people with dry and fair skin should avoid foaming cleansers in particular as they strip natural moisture from the skin and can contribute to premature wrinkles (this worried me a little). I was on the lookout for something new when I came across this in my local Tesco.
One of the reasons it attracted me is that it was advertised as being 100% Paraben free. Parabens are preservatives that are used in many cosmetics and have been linked to premature aging of this skin. Also parabens may have a link to breast cancer and eczema (see the channel 4 study on How Toxic are You?)
No after all the scary science bit, what is this product like?
It comes in a fairly regular white plastic tube inside a white cardboard box. The logo on the front is a green droplet with skinfood written in it. It has a green flip top cap and has a tamper evident seal on it to avoid possible contamination. It costs £4.99 for 100ml and you can buy it direct from the website, larger Tesco stores and even Amazon.
Is advertises itself as being eye safe and suitable for both sexes (the packaging is simple so wouldn't look out of place on my fellas side of the bathroom). The cleanser contains Aloe and Manuka Honey, Orange Oil, Avocado Oil, Coconut Palm Oil, Lavender Oil and even spring water. It contains no artificial colours or perfumes, it's not tested on animals and doesn't clog pores.
The cleaner smells delicious like orange honey (it even says on the back 'do not consume'!) and you can smell a slight hint of the lavender in it. It is a creamy white liquid and it is to be used by applying directly to your face and massaging it in with your fingertips. You can either wipe off or rinse it off with water to remove.
It's a wonderfully creamy formula and if feels smooth on your skin as you work it in. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed and soft with a lovely scent. It doesn't dry your skin at all and it doesn't sting, even round the delicate eye area. It removed every trace of my makeup, even my eyeliner and mascara!!
I really rate this product as the best cream cleaner I've EVER used, not a blotch dry patch or breakout in site and my skin feels amazing!! I'll certainly be ditching the Clarins and Estee Lauders of this world and stocking up on this little gem!!
