Appearance.

This face soap comes in a toothpast like tube - flat at one end and round and the other. It's see thrugh with a silver flip lid because it's see through it allows us to see what the product itself looks like. You can squeeze this bottle with ease so it's easy to make to get some of the product out. The bottle is 150ml which is displayed on the from along with the brand, name and a description stating that despite it's name this is not soap. The label is see through as well so we can still see the product. On the back this states where it's for how to use it with a warning where not to use this also an address for the head office and a very long list of ingredients.

Scrub, scrub, scrubbing.

It clearly states on the back of the bottle how to use this item and it's simply rub a grape size portion of this onto damp skin until it forms a thick lather and then rinse off well with warm water. When you first get a bit of this on your palm it's very gooey and quite thick. When applying this to my skin I found this lathered up really well when my face was more wet than damp. This slid around my face with ease and lathered up to a foamy mixture after approximately 30 seconds on circular rubbing. This had a cooling affect when it touched my skin and it was very refreshing, the exfoliating particals are not sparse however they are quite small I don't know what they've used but I found it wasn't very effective because I hardly felt them against my skin. Rinsing off this was fine I start washing ym forehead firsta nd when it drips down some went in ym eye and it did sting quite a bit but after a little rinse it was fine, I found this was a little tough to get off from around my nose, many times I haven't noticed I never rinsed it all off so you sort of have to scrub this off. This states on the front that is has "superfruit plum" in it, This doesn't particularly smell of plum or any fruit it's hard to describe but it does have an undertone of citrus fruits in it.

The effects.

After actually scrubbing all this off my face I found I still had some of the exfoliating beads on my face, neck and hair line but this is just because I'm careless I guess. My face felt smooth and soft around my cheeks and nose although my forehead felt very dry it didn't feel like it had been moisturised and the skin around my eyes felt very tight, this was a weird feeling because I had three different effects at once. This face wash is supposed to make your skin brighter now this wash alone didn't do that, the only way it would, would be if my face was really dirty then I cleaned it but you're supposed to use the eye cream and moisturizer with this and until you use all 3 for around a month you won't see a difference. I probably won't get another one of these face wash's because it made most of my skin dry and tight but it did soften up a little when I aplied some mositurizer on.

Ingredients, Price and availability

There is a very long list of ingredients on this but it does contain a lot of different acids so if you have sensitive skin you might want to be careful with how long you keep this on you skin. You can get this in gift sets like I did otherwise it is £7 for a 150ml bottle, you can pick this up in Boots.

Summary: an expensive way to try a new product
