This was the first of Soap and Glory's skincare range that I have tried. It was last summer and I was looking for a facial moisturiser with an SPF. What made me want to try this product was the fact that I was really impressed with Soap and Glory's "Sexy Mother Pucker" lip gloss and so wanted to give their skincare range a try.

I bought the product from Boots at £12 which has lasted me about 6 months so at 50p a week for a daily moisturiser with a high SPF is, to my mind, good value for money. The product came boxed which is, in my opinion, unneeded excess packaging, though it does have the picture of the pretty 40's lady (as you can see above) which is a huge part of Soap and Glory's brand recognition and recent popularity. The product's packaging is colour-themed silver, pink and yellow which looks different when compared to other brands on the cosmetics shelves.

The product itself is generic cream-coloured, goes on to the face as light as a feather, you can't feel it, it really does just sink into your skin ready for you to apply your daily make-up on top. You also don't need a lot of the product to cover your face and neck as it glides on easily enough without effort or vigorous rubbing.

I have combination skin which doesn't seem to be a problem for this moisturiser, it doesn't block my pores but does provide adequate moisture along with sun protection. The product had a pleasant scent which smells of luxury and cleanliness.

This is the best daily facial moisturiser I have ever used and would recommend this to anyone especially for those who are after a summer time moisturiser.
