I love using antibacterial gels and always have several, usually one in my kitchen, one in my handbag and you can often find my others stocked in my bedroom ready for use. I find them handy, excuse the pun and convenient to use especially when out and about.

I'm not loyal to one particular brand however and will buy different ones when on offer or if I just like the look of them which is why I picked up Soap and Glory's Hand Maid Hand Cleansing Gel the other day.

The dinky 50ml bottle of this hand cleansing gel costs a whopping £2.50, but I have to admit I love it.

The bottle itself is basic, just a see through plastic bottle with a flip up lid. It clearly says Soap and Glory Hand Maid 'Fresh, Fruity, Floral Scented Antibacterial' Hand Cleansing Gel on the front - with natural grape fruit extract. The back of this dinky bottle tells us to deploy a generous splodge of hand maid onto our palms and then rub tt all around until it absorbs. You can see the transparent pink hand gel within the bottle, very feminine and girly, perfect!

So this hand gel works just the same as any others I've bought, so why do I love it so much. The main reason is that fruity, fresh and feminine scent which I associate with most soap and glory products. On top of this it doesn't seem so 'chemically strong' smell wise unlike some you can buy yet it still makes my hands feel clean and fresh after using it - as well as leaving it's beautiful scent on my hands.

It's a pink transparaent 'gel' which is quite thin and squirts out of the bottle quite quickly but I find you don't have to use much to feel the benefits, or smell them. I wouldn't buy this on a regular basis purely because of price but as a treat this is one of my favourite antibacterial gels and would certainly reccomend it.
