In the last year I have become obsessed with Soap and Glory products. I've had my eye on one of the two face scrubs from the brand and after finding this 'Scrub your nose in it' for only £3.50 on ebay rather than the full price of £8 I decided to try it. I have had a great usage from previous soap and glory products and I love their Porefection facemask and was hoping this scrub would give my skin good results that I could use on a more regular basis.

The scrub comes in a pink squeezey tube made of durable plastic and the lid will not brake like many other cheaper brands often do. The label is stuck on and has the classic soap and glory look about itself which I love as it's very girly and makes me feel as if I am pampering myself. The names of soap and glory are always cheeky too and I especially love this ones name. The scrub inside is a light blue colour and has a fresh minty clean smell to it but not like toothpaste or mouthwash, it is fairly thick and feels like fine sand when putting it on your face.

There are two ways to use this, as a 3 minute facemask which personally I think isn't that great or useful as it's very thin and looks like dry skin, or just as usual facewash. The scrub feels nice on the skin as you can feel it scrubbing your skin but not in an overly harsh way and there is a nice coverage across the skin unlike some other scrubs I have used that have larger grains in that often end in you using more than enough to feel like it is actually doing the job of cleaning your skin.

The first few times I used this I was really pleased with it as my skin felt soft and clean, although admitted not much different to my usual Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Scrub. However with more and more use I'm finding my skin becomes very greasy very quickly afterwards which really isn't good for me as I have oily skin. Now that I have noticed this I notice the oiliness of my skin appears within an hour of using on the scrub.
I am very disappointed with the scrub as I was expecting a lot more from Soap and Glory, especially with the pore perfection facemask they have made. I really love Soap and Glory but think they should stick to doing body products rather than face products and I would only recommend this product to people with ridiculously good skin that doesn't matter what skincare you use or to people with dry skin.
