Great for dry skin in this horrible weather

      St ives elastin

The weather is definitely arctic and I am sure this winter has been the coldest ever in my lifetime. In the winter I am prone to feeling the cold more than the average person but the effects of the weather never seem to have much effect on my skin. This year however I experienced very bad dry skin especially on my hands and this may be exasperated by the huge amounts of washing up I have to do.

I used my normal Nivea Soft crème but this did not help at all and I needed something more substantial. I have used E45 before and found it quite good but it was rather greasy even though it did say it was not a greasy formula. I was going to get a special cream for extremely dry skin but having tried a few they where quite greasy and I this makes my hands slippery.

My mum had bought St Ives elastin moisturiser which does not claim to help relieve dry skin but I thought I would try it. I use the St ives facial scrub which is fantastic so I was expecting this moisturiser to be at least of a decent quality. It is a white consistency and quite glossy. I found that it took quite a long time for the moisturiser to sink into my skin and I had to rub my hands a really long time before all the cream had absorbed. But once the cream had been absorbed into the skin my skin felt conditioned and it wasn't even slightly greasy. The important thing is that the moisturiser did not dry my skin out for the whole day even when after washing the dishes for the hundredth time.

The thing is though that people who buy this are going to want to see their skin firming results because this is the aim of the cream. As I am quite young and my skin is quite elastic (for the moment!) I don't think I would be the best person to comment on the firmingness of the cream. It is fantastic at moisturising the skin yet not leaving it greasy and this is defiantly better than others I've tried.

This is a great moisturiser for dry skin, that leaves it moisturised without the horrible greasness. It also lasts for a long time.

I RECOMMEND EVERY ONE TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Thanks to St. Ives Collagen and Elastin Moisturizer which has transformed my life making my skin look younger and Firmer- In short, I have fallen in love with my skin - a pleasant experience indeed! Thanks again for such a wonderful product. You know what, my friends started noticing the changes in me and asked what I have been using, they compelled me to reveal the secret which otherwise I was unwilling to. I recently purchased some other products from St. Ives - Apricot Invigorating Scrub and you know after using for the first time, I started feeling the difference. Thanks to my Friend Masma, who suggested me to use these products, previously I used so many products but I was not satisfied, now that St. Ives is there to care about my skin making me worry free Mahmood, today I will be visiting the store to purchase one more for my little angel Zaara. Thanks, Mahmood.
