All these winter parties are fun but fitting so many social events in also becomes a bit stressful. I needed a calming just-for-me session. My face seemed dry from extremes of cold, gales and then going indoors into centrally heated buildings. Superdrug Anti-Ageing Moisture Mask - because I was feeling old seemed to be a good choice. I hoped it would do as promised and moisturise my skin. Ethics: There is an extensive ingredient list and with all those chemicals I would not choose to use this mask regularly but as an occasional treat when I have dry skin. It is paraben free and suitable for vegetarians. It has not been tested on animals and the product has been made in the UK so air miles are not a problem. All these things made me feel extra satisfied that I could indulge without guilt. Result: Wow - it super hydrates with its vitamin E content. I left it on for ten minutes, out of the suggested quarter of an hour, and was glad to find the scent was not overpowering. I didn't get any tingly sensations or skin irritation. I washed the mask off with warm water. My skin felt refreshed, smelt fruity - according to the sachet that's from the blueberries, cranberries and raspberries. I couldn't help but run my hand along my face a few times. I swear the laughter lines look less prominent. It was a facial for a total cost of 99p for 15ml. Now that is a bargain. I felt relaxed, refreshed and much better about my appearance. There are no dry patches left, I am aglow, and I am delighted. I will buy this again. All the stars earned by Superdrug for their brilliant product.
