      Advantages

      Disadvantages

It does work but not as quickly as you might hope

This is one of the many spot treatments that I have tried in my quest to treat my problem skin. I picked this up as the Clarity range tends to be quite affordable so it's not as big a waste of money if it doesn't work.

When I applied to spots, it started to tingle a bit. I presume that this is a good sign that the product is getting to work as I've not experienced this very much in the past. Despite being called Rapid Results, this didn't have any significant effect on my spots. Admittedly, the spots in questions were quite red and looked rather angry, but I had hoped that this cream would have cooled down the redness and reduced their appearance relatively quickly. Obviously I wasn't expecting a big difference in a matter of hours, but it took around 48 hours for the spots to start looking less unsightly. In this respect, it didn't work any better than the other spot treatments that I have used in the past which was disappointing considering the promised claims made in the very name of the product. In terms of reducing the size and feisty appearance of the spots, this took the best part of a week.

If your spots aren't too bad, you might find that this has a better effect on your skin than it did on mine but as my spots are usually bad, I can't verify that theory.

Price-wise, this currently costs £1.66. When I bought it several weeks ago, it was actually £2.24 so it must have been reduced in price since then, unless it is on some kind of special offer (although the Superdrug website does not state that this is the case).
