The Vitamin E skincare range from superdrug is fantastic if you are on a tight budget. The Vitamin E gentle eye cream is a brilliant little product that does what many other creams do but for a fraction of the price.

The eye cream comes in a 15ml small squeezy tube with screw cap. The cream is very easy to dispense straight onto the eye area through the pointy nozzle and the lid screws on tightly making sure non of the cream can leak out.

The eye cream is part of a growing range of vitamin E products from superdrug and is currently priced at £2.49 per tube. Other products available in the range include:

- Cleaner and Eye Make up Remover

The eye cream itself is said to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. The cream is white in colour, has a non greasy feel and absorbs easily into the skin. It also contains a SPF15 which for the bargain price is an excellent feature as creams with a SPF contained are usually much more expensive.

It gives a tip on the back of the tube to keep the cream in the fridge to give weary eyes a soothing treat. I do keep my cream in the fridge and find the cold cream does help first thing in the morning to reduce puffiness.

The only thing that is not mentioned on the packaging is that the cream seems to contain tiny glittery particles. These can be seen especially when you first use the product as they transfer onto your fingertips but I think they help to reflect the light giving the appearance of brighter more youthful skin around your eye area, its just a shame that they fail to mention this.

In conclusion I think this eye cream is an excellent product, not only is it great value I can certainly notice the difference when I use it. As I age I may opt for something slightly more powerful in its anti-aging capabilities but for now it works just as well as any other.
