T-Zone Tea Tree Oil Spot Treatment Stick
Having suffered from breakouts of spots for years I like to have something to hand that will help to dry them up when they occur...
This is where this product comes in, I bought it for around £2.99 at a local discount store. The product os made by the well known brand, T Zone and is made with T tree - which is meant to have anti bacterial properties.
The product is in a tough glass bottle with a roller ball top to apply the product. It is a 10ml container, and says it can be open for 12 months before you need to dispose of it... The bottle is nice and frosted meaning you can see the green liquid inside so you will know if it is going to run out (however as you use hardly any of this and as such it tends to last ages)...
I'm not a massive fan of t - tree, so the smell for me is off putting, but I do feel this product is effective. It states that it will tighten pores, and and improve your skin generally if applied, and as it is clear it can be used under make up. The product can be used under make up, but you do need to wait for it to dry (and this can take a minute or so).
On evil buggers of spots I do feel that it helps dry them up, and facilitates them disappearing quicker than they would normally. I do feel that the product helps with my spot prone skin, but I'm not convinced it minimises my pores generally.
I also have to admit I don't think I keep it for 12 months - I have never had one of these run out as I see it as a spot treatment, and not something that I would apply to my whole face. But because I use it on spots I don't want it to become a bacteria breeding ground, and as such I get rid of them every 12 weeks or so.
They are often on offer 3 for 2, at Boots, and I do replace them when they are on offer. Highly recommended, although it's not an instant fix (which for me doesn't actually exist)...
Summary: I helps when you need it to
