Before I wash my face to cleanse it, tone and moisturise I like to remove as much makeup as I can with a facial wipe. A few months ago when I was strolling around Tesco I spotted these cucumber cleansing wipes and I have been using them ever since.


**What are they?**

The cucumber cleansing wipes have been designed to cleanse and moisturise your skin. They are enriched with cucumber and aloe vera and have been specifically formulated to gently remove makeup.


**Packaging**

The wipes come in a handy little packet like the majority of other face wipes making them easy to carry around if you need to. I am not too keen on the lid of these wipes as it is one of the stick down ones which does tend to lose its stick in the end. As I use these wipes every day I find the stick is starting to wear away quite a lot towards to end of the packet.


**Using the wipes**

As soon as you take a wipe out you will notice the scent. The cucumber and aloe vera blend well together to create a scent which is very fresh and light. The cucumber is the over riding scent and it makes the wipes have a lovely clean smell.

The wipes themselves are just the right thickness and aren't too wet, Tesco have got it bang on here.

The wipes glide across my face with ease and manage to pick up the majority of my makeup. I am very impressed that these wiped work even with water proof mascara.

They feel very gentle on my skin and cause no irritation; I have sensitive skin so this can be a problem with some products.

I do like these face wipes and they do pick up most of my make up but there always seems to be a small amount left on my skin which isn't noticeable by eye but within my pores. The wipes don't seem to provide a deep cleanse.


**Price and availability**

These wipes can be purchased from Tesco for only 41p for a packet of 25 which I think is a bargain!


**Conclusion**

I will continue to buy these wipes to use at the beginning of my makeup removal routine as I think they do a great job from that perspective. However would I use these wipes on their own to cleanse and moisturise my skin? I have to say no as my skin is not deep cleansed and it doesn't feel anymore moisturised than normal. These are handy to take with you over night if you do not want to take all of your products with you and are really cheap compared to some other products that are on the market. I will award these wipes with 4 stars.
