I always carry a packet of facial wipes in my handbag as working in the care industry I often get quite sweaty and my skin ends up feeling horribly greasy. I ten to use the Avon Clearskin range of products however if they are not on offer then I don't think they are worth paying extra for.

I tend to like cucumber type products and so when I saw these on the shelves at Tesco for about 50p a packet I felt they were worth a try as even if they weren't any good I hadn't really lost anything. Of course being a Tesco product they can only be bought from Tesco stores.

The wipes come in a white plastic packet with a border of cucumber pictures across the top of the packet, the writing on the front is in green and stands out well against the white packet. The packet holds 25 wipes and has a peel back section in the middle where you get the wipes out and this reseals to keep the wipes moist throughout the packet although the piece does loose it's stickiness as you go through the packet.

The wipes are white in colour and are about the same size of any other wipes I have used so would say they are standard. The wipes have a slightly fresh smell to them but not one I could really describe and the wipes are very moist although not wet. The wipes are soft to the feel however felt a little rough against the sensitive skin on my face but not so as they were too harsh.

I found that my skin felt refreshed after using these wipes and my skin felt slightly tingly too. I felt that my skin was left a little damp after use but my skin soon dries and as I am using these through the day I don't moisturise after use but find that my skin still feels ok. I am sticking with my Clearskin wipes for morning and night at home however I am happy to carry these around in my handbag for the price I paid and feel that it is nice to know I can have that fresh feeling no matter where I am going.
