The cleanser is cooling and soothing when it is applied to the skin, and it is easily massaged over the face to help remove make-up. I can visibly see the cleanser changing colour and picking up the grime off my face, which is reassuring! I do rub it over my eyes to take off mascara and it doesn't sting or irritate my eyes. A little while ago a rash flared up on a small area of my cheek and when it didn't settle down I decided to visit my Doctor. She asked me what I used to remove my make up and I told her I use make up wipes. She was horrified! She sent me off with cream for the rash and instructions to buy a cleanser, toner and moisturiser. I went to Tesco and decided I was going to try their own branded products rather than expensive brands as I was unsure how long I would keep up the "proper" beauty regime my Doctor had instructed! On the shelf I spotted their own branded Vitamin E products and each just cost 78 pence so I bought all three there and ...  Read the complete review

As I have said in previous reviews I am a hige fan of Vitamin E due to the fact that it works with my skin. I think this may be due to the fact that my skin is slightly dry and I find the vitamin E moisturising. I spotted this in Tesco the other day and I normally buy Body Shop however seeing that this was way less than half the price of that I decided to give it ago. It is exclusive to Tesco and can be find in most of the larger supermarkets for just 73p which is an absoloute bargain! The cleanser is much runnier than some of the creamier ones I would have normally gone for, but I still decided to give it ago. It is white in colour and has ...  Read the complete review

I don't often cleanse and tone due to it being quite time comsuming and it being quicker just to quickly wet wipe your face and be done with it, however the other day I noticed in Tescos they had a vitamine E cleanser and toner for around 70p per one, meaning £1.40 for them both. As I have quite dry skin I knew that this would be good for me as I love the Body Shop vitamin E range however that price seems unbelievable compared to these prices. It comes in a very plain bottle, which is different to the one picured, it is a longish circular one that is plain white with a peachy / pinky label on reading 'Vitamin E cleanser'. I tend to cleanse then tone ...  Read the complete review

I normally shop in Asda for everything since Tesco is the other side of my very busy and large town. I visited my brother at the start of the year and I'm not a fan of taking toiletries with me unless i really need them because they leak, no matter how much i pack and protect them, they leak. I was in the next town over shopping and decided to have a look in the super centre Tesco just down the road to see what they had on offer. Normally I'd have walked past this but because it's a very plain white and peach coloured bottle with just 'Vitamin E Cleanser' written on the label it caught my eye, proves it doesn't have to be fancy to be eye ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Vitamin E Cleanser: A budget way to cleanse and clear (383 words)

I picked up this cleanser for around 70 pence when I was strapped for cash and needed a cheap cleanser to take my make-up off. The cleanser has been democratically tested and is suitable for all skin types, it also contains Vitamin E which is known for its moisturising and soothing properties. The product is 150ml in quantity. There is a screw top lid which is removed to dispense the white, slightly watery, cleanser. It is lightly fragranced with a floral smell which is not over powering. but does smell a bit artificial. I apply this with my fingers, as directed - due to the watery consistency I have to be careful when I dispense this product, as I have ...  Read the complete review
