The Double Ended Blackhead Remover is approximately 13cm from end to end. It is made up of a square 'rod', embossed with the Body Shop logo, and on each end there is a loop. One end is made of a fine loop which is like wire, and the other is made of what looks like wire, but flattened, in an oval shape. Both ends are very sturdy and have never bent out of shape for me, and I must have had this for 3 or 5 years.

The idea is that after steaming your pores open, and cleansing that the loop will apply pressure around most of the circumference of the black head, and remove it. It is a really useful tool, that is usually effective. It seems to be less efficient on your nose, as it can make your eyes water if you ally as mush pressure as needed.

It is really important to remember not to do this before you go out, as it can leave red marks across your face. Equally important is the need not to apply too much pressure as this can damage the skin surrounding the clogged pore, and could end up looking as unsightly if not worse.

I personally find the fine end to be most beneficial, especially if you have a blackhead in the crease of your nose. However if you use the edge of the oval end it can help on your nose a little. After each use it is really important to clean it with something to ensure that the next time you use it it isn't teaming with bacteria, as this may cause an infection.
