 ... with a very slight hint of green, and has a fresh cucumber smell (no surprise) which I quite like. I use this toner once a day, in the evening usually, after cleansing my face. I use a cotton wool pad to apply it. I have found that this toner stops my skin from feeling so tight after washing it and it is good at removing the final scraps of makeup and dirt that may be left on your skin. However, I haven't really noticed any improvement in the size of my pores since using this product. My pores aren't awfully huge anywa...more

~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Body Shop classic ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A few months back the Body Shop was selling its skincare products at half price so along with rather a few other products, I decided to pick up this toner, which is considered one of the Body Shop classics. I certainly remember using it many years ago, and it was well overdue a re-visit. A 250ml bottle of the toner costs £4 at full price - obviously I got it for £2. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Simple packaging ~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is one of those BS products that has been around forever so it may be familiar to those of you that have shopped there for a while. It comes in a green tinted ...  Read the complete review
I am a big fan of trying new products in the hope of improving my skin, but I am also a huge fan of a bargain. I picked up 2 bottles of this in the sale online as they were ridiculously cheap and I needed something to replace the Roma water from Lush that was close to running out (see my other reviews for this). It was insanely cheap, less than £2 as there was an extra discount offered at the time of purchase and I believe the full retail price is around £4. The packaging is simple, attractive and as above. The cucumber water has a very slight tinge of colour to it as can also be seen in the picture above, but when applied to cotton wool, it looks pretty much ...  Read the complete review
The Body Shop Cucumber Water: Not so gentle (347 words)
I bought this when I bought the matching cleanser. I didn't really need a new toner but I thought I'd give it a go and see if it worked well with the cleanser, and at only £4 for a 250ml bottle the price is very reasonable. The bottle is a see through plastic so you can always see how much you have left. It has a black flip top lid that makes it really easy and convenient to use. The top of the bottle only has a small hole to get the toner out rather than being a normal open neck, so it's easier to control how much you get out. I pour a bit onto cotton wool and wipe it over my face to remove the last traces of makeup and dirt. The first time I used ...  Read the complete review
My skin is toned thanks to The Body Shop. (715 words)
The Body Shop is a company whose website I visit frequently because they are often sending me e-mails advertising their latest special offers or newest items. I picked up several large boxes of items for Christmas and I made up a number of hampers for friends and relatives. I picked up some extra items for myself too and also found myself in the position where I had some items that were not suitable for someone I had bought them for and so I have been using Body Shop products for myself on and off this year. I believe I paid something in the region of £1.50 for this cucumber water thanks to a special offer and a discount voucher code, however, this is currently half the .  Read the complete review
The Body Shop Cucumber Water: Nice and refreshing (268 words)
I bought this toning water off The Body Shop website. At the time all of the "Anita's Favourites" products were Buy One Get One Free. For the £3.99 price tag this was a good bargain. The water comes presented in a flip top plastic bottle complete with lid. The water looks like ordinary water with a pale green tint to it. The water smells very clean and uplifting. It does smell like Cucumber but I think it smells better than Cucumber in my opinion! The size of the bottle is 250ml. You can use the water in two ways. You can either use it on cotton wool or decant some of it into a spray bottle and use the spray mechanism to ...  Read the complete review
