The brush has a small handle which although very small is easy to grip and the surface area of the brush is quite large so it doesn't take ages to 'brush' the whole of my face - I know that sounds a little weird haha. The brush bristles are soft but they do feel a little scratchy (though not to the point of being painful) against dry skin. At first I wasn't really s...more

The Body Shop Facial Brush with Lid: IT'S ONLY £3! (448 words)

I am literally using this as I write because it does such good for my skin! I wanted one of these as my mum worked for clearisil and basically said that spots are only caused by one thing and that is dead skin. So after using sooo many exfoliators from clearisil and neutrogena I gave up as they left my skin dry and i have a 'shiny film' left over my face. I decided to go for this product IT'S ONLY £3! This brush is recommended to be used with a simple face cream and doesn't need an exfoliator to go with it so i thought great! After using it twice with my Cleanse and polish from Liz earle i felt like it was more eroding my face and the water made the wires on ...  Read the complete review

~ Why I Bought It ~ I actually received this little facial brush as part of a vitamin e gift set from the body shop that I was given as a present last Christmas. I had never had or used a facial brush before getting this so I was excited to try it out and see if it made any difference. ~ Price ~ This facial brush retails at £4 which isn't too expensive in my opinion as the brush is very well made and good quality. ~ My Opinion ~ I wasn't too sure what to make of this brush at first as I'd never used a facial brush before and as I have dry, sensitive skin I was worried it would irritate it. The design of the brush instantly appealed ...  Read the complete review

The Body Shop Facial Brush with Lid: The Body Shop Facial Brush: Brush your face clean! (490 words)

The face brush is said to enhance cleansing and shaped to follow facial contours. -- Reasons for buying -- I received this with the new Body Shop Tea Tree Medium Skincare set. I was really excited to use it, as I have used all sorts of tools with my cleanser and never found once that really removes the dead skin, without causing any irritation. -- Appearance -- The white bristled brush is attached to a small circular transparent handle and has a lid which you can detach and reattach after use. The lid helps to protect the bristles from damage, also to prevent the brush from getting dirty. The bristles have a very soft feel to them, not ...  Read the complete review

A brush... for your face... yes really. Or: REALLY YES! (295 words)

SO this is quite a weird product, both to review and to buy. At first glance, it seems like the kind of product where somebody has invented a problem so that they can sell a solution, but stick with it! The brish is very simple. It is a circular piece of plastic, with a little handle-type thing to hold. The bristle are incredibly soft if you feel them with your fingers, but feel slightly less soft on the skin on your face! The brush fits neatly into the lid to protect the bristles when you're not using the brush. (A warning to prevent mould growth - wait to put the lid on until the brush is dry!) The brush is used with your normal face wash, and ...  Read the complete review
