I do normally just buy cotton pads wherever I happen to be shopping at the time whenever I've ran out of them, so it ranges from Boots and Superdrug, to Sainsburys and Tesco etc. I normally just buy whichever cotton pads look like the best value, I don't buy the cheapest, thinnest ones though I'm not that much of a skinflint. A few weeks ago I went away for the weekend with my sister, and I'd forgotten to pack any cotton pads. I was just going to pick some up in Boots in the airport, but my sister said that she had a brand new pack in her case and so we should just share those. She had these organic cotton rounds from The Body Shop. I hadn't used these before, ... Read the complete review

I love Body Shop products. You can usually find me in there, just browsing round the aisles most days during my lunch break from work. Whilst I do buy a lot of their creams, body lotions and bath products, I also buy more 'standard' stuff, such as bath sponges, make up brushes, candles, flannels, and their gorgeous cotton wool. The reason I say 'gorgeous' is because this is tip top quality cotton wool and so so much better than the cotton wool pleats or tiny little balls you can buy in most major supermarkets. It's more expensive from the Body Shop, at £2.50 for a pack of 100, but honestly, once you've used these you won't be going back to your usual supermarket ... Read the complete review

I recently got hold of a discount code which allowed me to get 40% off purchases from The Body Shop and subsequently I decided to treat myself to a new skincare range. To go with these new skincare products I decided I would purchase The Body Shop organic cotton face rounds as well. I find the cheap supermarket branded cotton rounds I've been using for a long time to be increasingly frustrating making my daily skincare routine more of an annoyance than anything else. They fall apart and curl themselves up into shapes which I cannot work with when faced with the simple task of performing a circular motion. They absorb too much of my cleanser and moisturiser meaning I have Read the complete review

I normally use cotton wool for make up and nail varnish remover etc simply because it usually works out cheaper than cotton pads but on my birthday back in May my friend gave me a Body Shop voucher so I decided to use it on some products I hadn't tried before including their Organic Cotton Rounds, at £2.50 for a pack of 100 they are more expensive than cotton wool and even other cotton pads but as I had the voucher I gave them a try. The Organic Cotton Rounds are sold in a clear plastic bag with just The Body Shop logo and the name of the product on it, this is done in green writing. The bag has a draw string top which I really like as it keeps the pads all ... Read the complete review

I've been using these cotton rounds for a good few months now and I really reccommend them! At £2.50 per pack of 100, they're not the cheapest brand of cotton wool available, but I can really tell the difference between this brand and the brand that I used previously - the quality shines through and they're amazingly durable and soft. Even though they're more expensive than a majority of drugstore/supermarket own brands, I actually feel that they're better value for money as they're stronger. I used to buy Superdrug's own brand before I discovered these, and the difference between the two is very noticeable. These cotton pads are much softer and gentle on the ... Read the complete review
