My skin type is combination - oily, but prone to dry patches with overuse of harsh products.

This face wash is in a cool and refreshing formula, which feels like it really cleans the face without "stripping" it like so many cleansers do. You only need a small amount, it is quite thick, and it lathers to provide excellent coverage and performance. It smells fresh and functional, but not invasive or fruity. (It doesn't smell of seaweed either, thankfully!) It makes your skin feel clean, but the best thing for me is that it doesn't "over clean" which can result in more oiliness later in the day. Over the long-term, my skin feels consistently cleansed, and there has been a definite improvement in tone and fewer spots. It is not harsh, so I can use it more than twice a day if necessary, and even use it on my children. This was the first product in the range I used, and it is great on its own but does seem enhanced when used with the other products in the range. The quality is excellent. It is excellent value for money, as I have not found any other face wash anywhere near this price that suits my combination skin long-term. The packaging is clear and fresh-looking, and looks nice and modern in my bathroom. It is also quite strong, although I have very occasionally had problems with the lid opening and spilling slightly when taken on holiday.
