Up until recently I've used a virgin vie exfoliating sponge. However my stash ran out and a replacement was needed. I tried a fair few different types and never really liked the texture of the exfoliating part. Then I stumbled across this one on a shopping trip. The one I have is green in colour, although they seem to only stock it in white now. At £5 is was worth a try and with the added kick back from the Body Shop loyalty card, a good price. So as a sponge it works well. Providing you wet it first, the shower gel will not run off as soon as you pour it on. The exfoliation element is good without being too rough on the skin. Exfoliating is an important part of my skincare routine and I am a huge fan of The Body Shop's various exfoliating accessories including their loofah pads, exfoliating gloves, body scrubs and so on. This skin sponge is one of my more recent purchases and I bought it instead of a new pair of exfoliating gloves as I thought that it'd make a nice change and I love trying out new products. There was a choice of either a facial sponge or an all over body sponge. The facial one looked to be much more gentle with barely any texture - this will be ideal for people who like to gently exfoliate. I love exfoliating products, whether they be lotions, creams or gloves, and one of my favourite things is The Body Shops Skin Sponge. I have had mine for several months and when I first ordered it I thought it was solely for exfoliation but in fact its a sponge for every day that exfoliates at the same time. The sponge as I mentioned is from The Body Shop and costs £5.00, its a beige/natural colour and measure approximately 9cm's x 12cm's, its an oval shape and has a little cord loop at one end to hang it up if you want to.
