Advantages: Clean, clear and refreshed skin!

Disadvantages: A little pricey!

-- Reasons for buying --
As I was browsing for Christmas presents in Body Shop I came across these exfoliating pads which were on sale. I have used many different types of exfoliating pads and have never found one that doesn't either irritate my skin or simply just doesn't achieve any results. As these were so cheap and I'm very found of Body Shop's Tea Tree range I thought I would give this a try.

-- Packaging --
The packaging is lovely, the 40 exfoliating pads come in a cute round green pot with a transparent, un-screwable lid which has a green grass looking label attached to the top which shows the Body Shop logo and some information about the pads. The little pot makes it easy for you to get the pads out and also small enough to carry around with you if needs be.

-- Using the pads --
The pads are very easy to use, you just simply pick out a pad and gently massage over your skin in circular motions to remove make-up, impurities and excess oil. I have multiple ways of using them for example I like to use these before I cleanse my face to remove the majority of my make-up at night time. I also like to use these instead of usual face scrub after cleansing, as I love the tingly and refreshed feeling you get afterwards and then either continue with a face mask or just your usual moisturiser. My usual worry with face wipes is that they dry out really easily and so you do waste quite a lot of them, as you have to pull out the dry ones to get to the reasonably moist wipes. I found that because these pads come in a tub, with a tight lid they were always very moist, which did leave my skin a little wet after but dried very quickly!

-- Pros --
I must say that these are definitely by far the best wipes/pads I have used, the last exfoliating pads I use left my skin irritated, extremely dry and burnt areas on my cheeks and around my nose which did put me off of trying others for a long time. The pads leave my skin feeling refreshed, clean and pleasantly tingling. I have just recently just run out and with definitely be re-purchasing. I'm extremely fond of Body Shop's products they have never let me down and I also like that they use all natural ingredients so your not putting nasty chemicals onto your skin. The tub is a reasonable size so its easy to carry it around with you which I tend to do when my skin has flared up with acne, I like to massage these other the affected area whilst I'm out to keep bacteria away!

-- Cons --
I only have a few minor cons which involve the price and the quantity of pads you get. You receive 40 pads which does seem a lot but whilst I'm using them most days and sometimes using more than one pads they do tend to go down quite quickly! For the sale price the amount of pads you receive are definitely worth the money, but for the full price I think it may burn a whole in my pocket too quickly!

-- Price and availability --
The pads are widely available in all body shop stores and online. I have been in many Body Shop stores and the Tea Tree brand have always been displayed. I bought these pads for £3 as they were on sale which I think if a good price for the amount of pads you receive and baring in mind an all natural product is worth a little extra money. There full price is £6 which for me is quite a lot as the pads roughly lasted me 1-2 months and I'm not sure if I would pay out that much money that regularly. But at the moment they are on sale for £3 so my plan is to stock up whilst I can!

-- Conclusion --
I think these pads are brilliant, they left my skin feeling refreshed and very clean and not a black head on my nose in sight! I do think the full price is a little too expensive, but as they work so well I think its a price worth paying!

Summary: Great pads work wonders!
