Advantages: Fresh scented, leaves soft, supple skin, creamy and high quality, enriched with Vitamin E.
Disadvantages: In the higher end price bracket for skin cleansing products, but grab a deal if you can!
--How to use--
Squeeze a little in the palm of your hand and massage gently into your skin.
--Benefits--
Washing just with water doesn't necessarily remove all impurities built up over the day effectively, whereas some soaps on the face can be harsh and abrasive, causing dry skin. This Vitamin E cleanser washes impurities from the pores leaving a fresh feeling, a lightly brushed sensation and a deeper clean.
--Value for money--
This product was fairly expensive for a smallish bottle, as it was from the Body Shop. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the moisturising element of the product and so I would say it is worth the price paid, though I would prefer to buy it when deals are on!
--Where to buy it--
Available at all Body Shops in a little pink bottle as part of the Vitamin E range. Beware of the pyramid selling in certain outlets, you can get very pushy sales assistants on commission! After I'd purchased this one, they were keen to recommend I also use the toner, though I was sceptical of needing three different products just to cleanse my face, so I decided not to purchase the toner on this occasion (after buying a lot of Body Shop make up too!)
--My opinion--
Slightly overpriced for the size of the bottle, however, it will last a long time as I am not using it quite every day, just when I feel my skin needs an extra cleanse. I would recommend using this product with a washcloth or a facial sponge as it doesn't quite all remove if you just splash your face with water. It leaves a lovely fresh smell and if you use it in a hot bath you can feel the product acting on your pores which is a pleasant freshly washed skin sensation. I would rate it as an effective product, which I like to use when I have a break out to give my skin an extra cleanse, though of course it can be used on a day to day basis as well. Effectively removes make up layers too, though you may want to use an extra make up remover wipe for tough make up.
I really enjoyed the fresh scent and moisturised cleansed feeling, though it definitely requires a clean washcloth to remove all the product effectively. Leaves your skin feeling soft and supple and the scent was not overpowered, just fresh.
The Vitamin E in the product is supposed to leave your skin glowing and healthy, and it is true that this product gives you a nice, healthy skin feeling after use.
I would recommend this for people with dry or sensitive skin as it is very moisturising. I have skin prone to break outs and it works well to moisturise my skin, so I can vouch that it is suitable for both these skin types as it is not at all harsh on the skin compared to some alcohol based cleansers! I prefer this product to many alcohol based cleansers as I find that they dry my skin out quite a bit and make me peel.
In summary, I'd give this product four stars. Quite pricey, but a general all round effective and pleasant lightly fragranced product which I would buy again should I be in the Body Shop and have spare cash!
Summary: Better for the face than soap, quite expensive but highly recommendable for a super soft cleanse.
