Advantages: Leaves skin smooth and soft, safe for sensitive skin, skin brightening effects, hydrates.

Disadvantages: None for me.

I like to take good care of my skin, particularly that on my face, and so I have a skincare regime I stick to twice daily. The majority of the items I use come from The Body Shop's Vitamin E range with their Moisture Cream being one of my favourites.

The Vitamin E Moisture Cream can be bought from The Body Shop's website and in their stores for £9 for a 50ml pot and a smaller 15ml pot is also available for £4. The day cream comes in a plastic circular pink pot with a black screw on lid which contains all the relevant information along with The Body Shop's logo. The cream claims to be suitable for all skin types and is 'daily antioxidant protection and moisturisation'.

Unscrewing the lid reveals a circular plastic cap which keeps the cream in place and stops it from covering the lid and possibly leaking. This is easily removed and then placed back after application. Once you've removed this cap you're greeted by a very pale pink cream which has a slight baby lotion scent about it which is quite nice.

To apply the cream I just dab a little on my face and rub in circular motions after cleansing and toning each morning. You really don't need much of this cream at all and I find the 50ml pot lasts about three months for me even though I'm using it pretty much daily. It absorbs into the skin instantly and doesn't leave my face looking shiny or obviously coated in some sort of cream.

I've been using this day cream for around seven months now and I still absolutely love it and can never see myself switching to another day cream. It's very lightweight and allows my face to breathe without feeling clogged up. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and supple I could sit rubbing my fingers down my cheek all day just to feel my skin! The Vitamin E range in general, as well as this cream, has had definite skin brightening effects on me too. My face just looks healthier and brighter since I've been using this.

I can't find a single negative about this cream. Although cheaper options are available this one is very clearly of high quality and really does give excellent results. Usually around this time of year my skin could be becoming a little dry although I've had no dry patches thus far which I put down to this cream entirely! Despite having sensitive skin I've had no reaction to this and I'm just generally very impressed with it. If you're looking for a good day cream to prevent or sort out dry skin then I thoroughly recommend this one to you.

Summary: A perfect day cream from The Body Shop.
