For as long as I can possibly remember I have set aside an hour every Sunday where I will enjoy a much needed pampering session in the comfort of my home. Each of my pampering sessions consists of a face mask and whilst I generally tend to purchase those from Montagne Jeunesse, my eyes were recently drawn to The Body Shop's Warming Mineral Mask, which is suitable for all skin types and this review discussing my experience with using. I'm a huge fan of warming masks, as they offer a wonderfully soothing and comforting sensation especially during the cold winter months. The mineral mask is suitable for all skin types and we are provided with 100ml, which is ... Read the complete review

Skin type: All ~ Introduction ~ My friend is a fan of The Body Shop and managed to lure me into one in Oxford Street. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I saw they had a fairly large tube of warming clay mask product and realised it actually came very handy. I was going to Mauritius at the end of the year for three months and because I wanted to gently tan my body I needed something to cleanse my face without using exfoliating face scrubs. ~ Exfoliation and sun exposure ~ Exfoliating is an absolute no-no if you're tanning either naturally or in a sunbed, because exfoliating products also remove the mature outer ... ...Product Description... The Packaging is simple and elegant. The tube is of a pale greenish grey colour which is the same as the actual product and the tube is designed to be stood on its lid which I like because I feel like less product will be wasted. The text on the front is straight forward and practical telling us the product is a self warming, deep cleansing kaolin clay treatment" for all skin types. On the back in small quite hard to read writing we discover the product contains; ginger, cinnamon, algae and essential oils and there is also instructions for how to use the product. The actual face mask is very thick and you have to squeeze ... Read the complete review

Me I love face masks and was immediately drawn to this product when I saw the word 'warming'. I had visions of some warming treatment similar to that of a spa treatment. What is the 'warming mineral mask'? This is a face mask that magically warms itself when it comes in contact with your damp skin. It deep cleanses your pores leaving you feeling fresh and clean. Your skin will appear smooth, soft and revitalised. Cost? It costs £7.50 for a 100ml tube. You can get 10% off with a Love your body card (see my review on it for full details). It comes in a plastic bottle which can be recycled by returning to a body shop ... Read the complete review

This mineral mask from the Bodyshop is just SO good I thought I'd write a review to tell others as it's good to share experiences on excellent products. I won't tell you about the ethics or history of the Body Shop as I'm sure everyone knows - I still get a good feeling about buying their products even though I can't afford to buy as many as I used to. I've had real problems with my 56 year old skin - the older it gets the more prone I seem to get to blackheads so I'm determined to get my face thoroughly cleansed & fresher-looking before Christmas. I paid £7.50 for 100ml of bodyshop's Warming Mineral Mask & can honestly say it's ... Read the complete review
