      Can't recommend at all

Being a bit of a beauty product addict, I always like to try out new things and vary the brands that I use. One of my most exciting discoveries has been finding online companies that provide beauty boxes. The idea is that you will be sent a box every month, which will contain a selection of various make-up, skin care, fragrance products etc for you to try out, and I have been trying a few from different suppliers. I received this Expression Treatment by The Organic Pharmacy in a previous delivery from Amarya, and it costs RRP £43.96 for a 10ml tube. You can find further information at www.amarya.co.uk and www.theorganicpharmacy.com

      Product description: " 1 Pump ... 2 Fill ... 3 Smooth

The treatment comes in a plain tube packaged in an outer cardboard box. It has a screw-top lid with a small tip underneath, and it is easy to dispense a small amount of the product by squeezing the sides together. The tube is plain white which looks quite boring and uninspired. One of my pet hates is not being able to see how much product is left inside of the packaging, and the solid coloured plastic makes this impossible.

Recommended directions for use: On cleansed skin apply Expression Treatment to areas of eyes, forehead, lips and anywhere that needs an extra boost. Apply before moisturiser as normal in the morning and before Antioxidant Serum at night.

The treatment itself is pure white and has a slightly soapy scent to it. The consistency is quite light and it spreads easily over my skin, meaning that only a small amount is required for each application. I am nearing the end of my 20's and have recently made the startling (yet inevitable) observation that I am beginning to form some wrinkles on my face, particularly on my forehead. This Expression Treatment is designed to give targeted results, so I applied it only to the areas of skin that I am concerned about; over my forehead and also around my eyes. I have been using this treatment for many weeks now, applying it both in the morning and in the evening, and following up with my normal moisturiser products as well. It does help my skin to feel moisturised as soon as it sinks in, but aside from this I cannot say I have noticed any difference whatsoever. I had high hopes for the product based on its claims and the detailed descriptions of fancy ingredients, but even with sustained and frequent use my wrinkles do not look filled or reduced in any way, and nor has it made my skin feel smoother. I have very nearly reached the end of my 10ml tube and am disappointed that I have not seen any positive results during this time. I have been looking to try more natural and organic beauty products recently, mainly because they seem to be better quality and I don't have to worry about adding more chemicals into my body. However in this case I am glad to have received the product as part of my beauty box order, as it feels like a waste of time using it, and I would have been very annoyed had I paid the full asking price as it is very expensive.

Overall I certainly cannot recommend this product and I wouldn't bother to use it again. I didn't see any improvements at all, and the RRP is very high for such a poor, ineffective product.
