I first came across this product at my Mother in Laws house, and after I gave it a go I bought some for myself. I purchased the 30ml masque from my local health food store for £12.95.

The masque is part of a whole beauty care line by Weleda, which includes day and night creams, eye creams and facial oils.

The product comes in a soft plastic tube with a white screw top lid that is easy to use and does not leak; it also helps the masque to stand up on a shelf. In addition it comes in a cardboard box, both are coloured in varying shades of pink from light to dark, which makes the product quite attractive looking.

The masque contains high quality cold-pressed wild rose seed oil and peach kernel oil that strengthen the skin's natural protective barrier and give the skin extra nourishment. Mallow extract also soothes the skin whilst improving the skin's renewal process.

The masque has the following ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Prunus Persica (Peach) Kernel Oil, Glycerin, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Alcohol, Rosa Moschata Seed Oil, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Kaolin, Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Extract, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Limonene*, Linalool*, Citronellol*, BenzylAlcohol*, Geraniol*, Citral*, Eugenol*, Farnesol*, Xanthan Gum. *from natural essential oils.

It is recommended that you use the product twice per week. The masque is quite thick and smells of fabulous roses, which is one of my favourite smells. To use the masque I cleanse my face and neck and apply the masque quite thinly, it is recommend that use cover up to 1-2mm thick on the tube, also I avoid the eye area. I leave the masque to dry which takes around 10-15 minutes, but longer if I am in the bath of shower due to the steam, and then rinse off with clean water. You are supposed to use cotton wool or tissue, but I find this to be a faff and also messy and a bit more time consuming as you still need to rinse your face with water anyway. I only use the masque once a week or maybe once every two weeks, but it has improved my skin overall.

After I have used the masque my face feels softer and look more radiant, it definitely improves my skin and addressees any issues in terms of dryness. I have combination skin and it works well and I have not experienced any irritation.

Overall I would recommend this product to others as it smells great, is easy to apply and make your skin feel softer, more radiant and less dry. The only downside I have is that it is quite expensive.
