Advantages: Very black look and gives an eye liner effect almost, stays on all day and looks great!

Disadvantages: Can get clumpy sometimes!

I am going to write about my most favoured makeup items .. I literally paint my face on a daily basis and am generally very pleased with all products I have come to find including Bourjois Volume Clubbing Ultra Black Mascara. I started buying this mascara a couple of years ago and have used it ever since with the interruption of only one other that I had as a gift. Usually I purchase the mascara from Boots or Superdrug and always from Boots when they have the £2 off vouchers and 2 Bourjois products for £10 as it brings the product down to cheaper value of £5 to £6 but without the money off it usually retails at around £8.00 - still a reasonable enough price to pay I think! There are different colours to choose from but I use the Ultra Black Colour. The mascara has nice packaging and has a thick bristle brush wand which is good to collect a lot of mascara on the end of it. The mascara is very black and thick texture. It is the best mascara I have come across for the effect that I have been looking for. I usually put one coat of mascara on for work, day wear etc and then two coats for evenings. Sometimes I find it difficult to avoid my eyelashes clumping together (could be because I am too impatient to wait for the first application to dry) but ultimately it does give a dramatic look effect and people always comment and ask what mascara I use. I have small lashes but for me this lengthens as well as gives that striking effect look. Compared to Benefit's BaD Gal I would say this one is much better and better value also!

The mascara lasts all day long and still looks good at the end of the day, I remove most of it in the shower and then go over with a face wipe to get it all off!

Overall best mascara I have come across for a dramatic look!

Summary: I love this and my best mascara find so far! Ideal for work/day wear and club wear!
