Advantages: Very long lasting. Strong colour pigmentation.

Disadvantages: Too clumpy. Difficult to remove.

I love mascara - it is my desert island product. I just don't look good without it! I had high hopes for Bourjois Volume Clubbing Mascara which I bought in black.

I have naturally quite long eyelashes but they are quite pale so I like a thickening mascara. Unfortunately when I applied this product I found it just went on in great big clumps and I had comb through my eyelashes with an eyelash comb to stop them from all sticking together and looking horrible. I also found the colour pigmentation too strong for me - it was 'too black' if that makes any sense and looked quite severe. This may be just what others are looking for in a mascara, but it's not for me.

I also found it a nightmare to take off at the end of the night. I spent ages wiping my eyes with make up remover but still woke up with black sumdges under my eyes in the morning. Not a good look!

Summary: Good if you like a really black colour but not easy to apply nicely or to get off afterwards.
