justicerulesok Tesco Breadmaker: ... main annoying point about this breadmaker is the instruction book...it lists recipes in the smaller 700g loaf size & you have to convert them all to make the bigger 900g loafs. then there s the cup...the measurements in the list say for example add one cup of water...but the cup supplied is labelled and the top of the cup is labelled 3/4 cup. as such some maths is required to put the correct ingredients in ...

heynonnynonny Cookworks Breadmaker
... finally decided to take the plunge and buy a breadmaker although being on a tight budget felt this one was very reasonable for the money, sub £30 mark. Bit overwhelmed at first but found it very easy to set up and get started, seeing as it comes with a seperate book for instructions and then one for all those yummy recipes, there is loads of varieties and in this model you can even make cakes and jams with it although I have never tried this yet. So got all my ingredients in and decided to give it a whirl. so far I have only made basic bread and french bread. French bread setting I thought was foul, but the basic has always come good for me. It has the recipe for whit...

Milburgha Panasonic SD255
... a family of 4, we have now been baking our own bread daily for nearly 2 years using the Panasonic SD255 Bread Maker. The quality and range of different types of bread on offer is exceptional. The machine is easy to use, has clear well written instructions, and from start to finish each loaf takes less than 5 minutes to put on to bake. Friends and relations who regularly stay with us say how much they enjoy our bread, and the multitude of different types of loaves on offer. Indeed, several of them have now bought this bread maker them...

The list of ingredients for a basic loaf was annoyingly long, and every single one of them managed to find its way to the back of the cupboard between loaves. The bread was nice-a bit sweet; the children liked it (they would), but it was a chore to make and bread was so easy to pick up at the supermarket. Gradually the breadmaker slipped into disuse. It sat...no...loomed on the worktop, inducing guilt and gathering dust. If it had been any smaller, I could have hidden it in a cupboard with the j...
