Morphy Richards 48280 Fast Bake ... requested this breadmaker as an engagement present and I m so very glad I did! There not much I can add to the above review except that you shouldn t feel you have to stick rigidly to recipes in the book. For example I substitute olive oil for melted butter, and one of the cups of white flour for wholemeal flour. Yummy! Practice first and you ll soon get to know your machine and what works and what doesn t (and have fun trying!). The timer function is very useful imagine waking up to fresh bread in the morning! Morphy Richards have suberb customer service as well. I m actually on my second breadmaker! They replaced my first after it started tripping the electricity!... Breville AWT BR8 ... a couple, we first bough out Antony Worrall Thompson Breville Br8 Bread Machine almost 2 years ago, bought for my wife, but used by both of us. This was to replace a not-so-good Murphy Richards machine which made yeasty bread and misshaped loaves. The Br8 was getting mixed reviews at the time, some good and some bad, but it was the top-of-the-range model, which of course meant pricey (at around £100-£120), but look at it, it was shiny and very pretty, it must be good! Morphy Richards 48280 Fast Bake ... Art of Acquiring Unwanted Machinery I love home-made bread. There’s something about the smell of brad proving over a warm oven that comforts and calms. It’s a smell which also has the function of making me incredibly hungry – don’t know about you, but I’m sure that’s why the big supermarkets stream the isles with bakery smells, just to make you feel hungry and buy more food as a result! In my opinion, there is nothing better than a slice of freshly cooked bread, preferably with nutty bits and a thick, dark crust, and a bowl of hot, steamy soup.
