Last year I won a Breville homee breadmaker in a competition. I had only made bread once before and it was a complete disaster so I was quite keen to see how easy this automated process was going to work. If you like freshly made bread and have just enough patience to chuck a few ingredients into a "bowl" then this is the gadget for you! It's taken a few attempts to get the right blend of ingredients for the 'perfect' loaf but it really is simply a case of throwing in the flour, butter, yeast etc into the metal container in the machine, select the required program and 4 hours later, freshly baked bread! This particular machine has numerous settings allowing you to choose you particular choice of bread. The instructions are all very easy and the buttons on the front are clearly marked. You can set the machine so that it will start it's 4 hour cycle at say 4 in the morning so there is fresh bread ready for breakfast - what more could you ask for?! Waking up to the smell of newly baked bread is defnately a good start to the day!
