Breville AWT BR8: ... a couple, we first bough out Antony Worrall Thompson Breville Br8 Bread Machine almost 2 years ago, bought for my wife, but used by both of us. This was to replace a not-so-good Murphy Richards machine which made yeasty bread and misshaped loaves. The Br8 was getting mixed reviews at the time, some good and some bad, but it was the top-of-the-range model, which of course meant pricey (at around £100-£120), but lo...

... have a Breville Bakers Oven and I find it very useful. It only has one kneading hook and produces vertical rather than horizontal loaves (which some people say are better), but I find it works fine for me. It s very easy to use, almost foolproof and takes only 5 minutes to get the ingredients ready. It doesn t come with many recipies though, and most of the recipies given use quite unusal ingredients or are gluten -free so I don t use them. It would be very useful if you are allergic to gluten or yeast. It should have more normal recipes, I think. Anyhow you can also make pizza dough and buns from it -very easy and delicious. The only drawback is that the bread does...

... B10 Bread Machine I brought this bread machine about a year and a half ago now, and i love it! This cost me £50.00 from Debenhams (and i used a £50 gift voucher my boss gave me for Christmas!), and is Stainless Steel. There are 2 kneading hooks inside the removable bread tin, which can hold a 2lb loaf. I wanted a bread machine for ages, and got jealous when my step dad had his for Christmas! I had to spend my vouchers on a bread machine, and i had to make sure mine was better than his!!! My step dad s bread machine cost a lot more than mine did, but it only has 1 kneading hook inside. The bread comes out stodgy and heavy, not at all appealing. The bread from my ...

... nothing like the smell of freshly cooked bread is there? I?ve been known to hang around the bread counters of supermarkets just to sniff the air when the hot, crusty loaves are being removed from the oven and put on the shelves. I bought my first breadmaker about three years ago and have recently upgraded to a Breville Bakers Oven. My previous model gave up the ghost a couple of months ago, and I immediately decided that we would have to buy a new one as none of us could live without our fresh herby loaves every morning. I chose the Breville mainly because of the price as it had been reduced to £49.00 for it in the Argos...
