Just a quick review of the Argos Cookworks Bread maker, white, Cat. No. 422/9382. This makes my third Cookworks bread maker in about seven years. The first one's "non stick" started to stick, and the last one's paddle started to make a clunking noise as it went round. I began to take it apart, but then thought, this is silly, a new one ...

Having read previous reviews, I thought I'd buy the cookworks breadmaker. Firstly - remember to do what it says about oil and a cycle to prevent the bread from sticking Secondly - it takes less than 10mins a day to put the ingredients in. Then you can set the timer, so you don't need hours and hours to spare - just programme it to ...

The most recent review of this brand/range of breadmaker is over 4 years old, so I thought: "Time to freshen up this section of DooYoo a bit!". This is a review of the Cookworks Signature White breadmaker, as sold in Argos on Cat# 422-9382 (Jan-2008) and other outlets. An abbreviated web-link for this is given below, along with some ...

I've had it for 18 months, the bread pan is leaking now and it is going to the bin. I've made some good bread with it, but I think that the bread quality comes from using good flour. It's quite noisy and I won't buy it again. It's very small considerng that you end up with a big hole in the middle from the mixing ...

This was my treat to myself when I decided I was going to bake my own bread every day, last Christmas. The novelty soon wore off unfortunately, but I realized I haven't actually shared my experiences with you. I had searched everywhere for various types of bread makers. There are some that can make cakes, some only bread etc. What did ...

£11.65 a loaf. Yep that right. I decided to buy a breadmaker. I have thought about it for a long time. I kept telling myself that we had no room. But in the end I gave in. Also I am lazy. I work full time as well as studying for an OU degree as well. But using a breadmaker is easy. Just chuck all the ingredients in the order ...

A little while ago I told you about the Morphy Richards breadmaker, however the machine actually broke, but as it was still under guarantee I returned it to Argos, this model however was out of stock, so I was offered the “Cookworks Breadmaker” instead with the option of money back too as this machine is £15 cheaper than the ...

Do you remember the advert for Hovis bread? The one where the young lad is pushing his bike to the top of an impossibly steep hill and delivering a loaf of freshly baked bread? Then freewheeling all the way down to the bakers again for breakfast with hot buttered bread. It used to bring back memories for me as I used to deliver freshly baked bread ...

I went to Argos to purchase a Cookworks Breadmaker but was given the Millers Choice instead. I thought I would give it a chance rather than return it immediately and was very pleasantly surprised. I have never had a Breadmaker before but thought about getting one mainly because we run out of bread mid week and I have to visit a ...

The Cookworks Breadmaker is, from a price point of view, the Skoda of the Breadmaker world. It is a lot cheaper than the Morphy Richards and other big name brands. However, it makes bread which is the main reason why we bought it!! To be honest, I was perfectly happy buying bread but my partner had a real bee in his bonnet about ...

A new product to hit the electrical stores is the Bread Maker. A contraption where you can insert all the ingredients, and enjoy a loaf of freshly baked bread in your own home. You cannot beat the taste and smell of fresh baked bread, and while you can savour the aroma whilst walking through your local supermarket, many small family bakeries ...
