I know many people who have bought this product and have had no problems with it. It comes with clear instructions and is very simple to use, even though it has numerous settings. I have used this product to bake simple loaves of bread as well as things like muffins in which the breadmaker takes the dough up to the baking stage, ready ...  Read the complete review

As far as I'm concerned there is nothing quite like fresh, homemade bread, especially while it's still warm. However I haven't got the time, inclination or patience to make it by hand. Therefore, when my dad told me that he was going to throw his breadmaker away I immediately asked if I could have it and home with me it came. ...  Read the complete review

I've had my Cookworks breadmaker almost a year now, and on the whole it's been very useful, although I have to say I've been fairly unadventureous with it and mainly stucky to plain breads and sometimes pizza dough. The breadmaker actually has 12 settings though so it provides a lot of options for different types of bread. The 12 ...  Read the complete review

I love homemade bread, and although I don't make it every day, I like to have a breadmaker for those days I have time to put together some freshly made bread. My old Morphy Richards breadmaker wasn't very reliable in turning out decent loaves, and the bread pan was becoming increasingly scratched, so I decided to go for a new one in a ...  Read the complete review

We have this breadmaker and it is fantastic I really thought making bread would end up being sooo fiddly but in fact it is so easy. This came with a handy little book with different bread to try. I have to admit we have not been very adventurous yet as we have stuck to a couple of loaves we know we love. It is very easy to ...  Read the complete review

With a loaf on average costing around £1.20 and given the fact we were starting to throw quite a bit away...............something had to be done. We had talked about getting a breadmaker for a while, and after sampling some of my sister in laws sun dried tomato loaf, I was pretty much convinced as to the benefits. It was time to part ...  Read the complete review

I bought this as a replacement for our old cookworks breadmaker, that lasted over 10 years. There is a viewing window in the top, so you can see what is happening at each step which is a bonus. included is an instruction leaflet and a recipe book that tells you what you can make, not just bread, but dough for pizzas, cakes, and even jam. ...  Read the complete review

I bought this bread maker back in January 2009 and it has been fantastic not a single problem with it. I originally had a Panasonic one but it was a nightmare and eventually it broke just after my guarantee ran out. I bought the Cookworks one out of Argos for £25 in the sales but it normally about £47.89. It also comes with a recipe book ...  Read the complete review

I bought the Cookworks breadmaker from Argos for only £29. I was sceptical at how a product so cheap would perform, especially as other breadmakers can cost over £100. However, I have not been disappointed yet. The machine is available in either stainless steel or white. I went for the stainless steel as it looks more contemporary and ...  Read the complete review

I finally decided to take the plunge and buy a breadmaker although being on a tight budget felt this one was very reasonable for the money, sub £30 mark. Bit overwhelmed at first but found it very easy to set up and get started, seeing as it comes with a seperate book for instructions and then one for all those yummy recipes, ...  Read the complete review

I got a cookworks breadmaker for christmas from my gf's parents and i love it! It came with a liquid measuring cup and a tbsp/tsp measuring spoon. It also came with recipe manual and troubleshooting manual. A 'hook' is also provided in case the mixer gets in the bread itself. I love the simplicity of the machine and it does what it says ...  Read the complete review

I have recently purchased a stainless steel Cookworks Breadmaker, it was packaged well and came complete with measuring cup and measuring spoon but sadly no manual. The bread is gorgeous and have used another Dooyoo subscribers recipe which has turned out brilliantly. The bread never sticks and makes a lovely 2lb loaf. I have tried ...  Read the complete review

I ordered this breadmaker from Argos on Internet last week. I ran down the stairs as the courier rang, and fell down 3 stairs. My right ankle sprained. Well, I don't know whether it was worth for it, but I am absolutely satisfied with the breadmaker I ordered. The machine looks like the one in the picture. It has 6 buttons in ...  Read the complete review

I've always preferred to cook and eat food that has as few additives and preservatives in it as possible and so do cook most food 'from scratch'. While I can make my own bread I find the whole kneading and proving process to be laborious and as my boiler is extremely well insulated I don't really have anywhere warm enough to place my ...  Read the complete review

I bought this bread maker for three very good reasons. The first is that I knew something was awry with English bread when my Portuguese student friend asked me what it has in it to make it last so long. The second reason is the cost of packaged bread, it's astronomical and has reached new heights over the past year. The third and final ...  Read the complete review

Having read previous reviews, I thought I'd buy the cookworks breadmaker. Firstly - remember to do what it says about oil and a cycle to prevent the bread from sticking Secondly - it takes less than 10mins a day to put the ingredients in. Then you can set the timer, so you don't need hours and hours to spare - just ...  Read the complete review

I've had it for 18 months, the bread pan is leaking now and it is going to the bin. I've made some good bread with it, but I think that the bread quality comes from using good flour.
